We are a leading security provider and deliver high-quality, customer driven security and locksmith solutions to clients in specialist industries in a broad range of sectors including defence, government, financial and corporate. We are seeking a Electrical Engineer (Project Engineer) to join our friendly, supportive team. We are offering a salary of $95,000 - $110,000.00 per annum plus Superannuation.

Position Summary
The Electrical Engineer (Project Engineer) position combines innovation and technical expertise to design, develop, and oversee the manufacture, installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and systems for electric power generation, distribution, and control. As a Electrical Engineer (Project Engineer), you will manage all project aspects from concept to completion, ensuring high customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget, safety, and quality standards. Effective communication with key personnel, customers, and suppliers is essential, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering major projects.
Key Responsibilities
Review project documentation and client specifications, discussing any discrepancies with the manager in charge.
Record non-standard or special requirements in the SCA info folder.
Prepare the bill of material (BOM) and coordinate with stores for available stock.
Develop purchase orders from preferred suppliers and seek quality suppliers.
Coordinate purchase orders with stores and follow up with suppliers on delivery delays.
Prepare sheet metal orders with realistic completion dates.
Provide wire and terminal numbers and labels to the engraving department with accurate quantities and descriptions.
Prepare accurate wiring tables if required.
Create design drawings for SCA using AutoCAD templates.
Develop and issue Workshop and Test Folders and conduct Production Handover Meetings with Leading Hands.
Prepare QA documents and ensure completion by relevant persons.
Investigate and correct non-conformances, reporting issues to the HSEQ Coordinator and manager.
Identify and resolve problem areas impacting project progress or payment.
Adhere to estimated engineering hours, developing Engineering Reports and adjusting schedules as needed.
Ensure all "As Built" documents are sent to customers promptly.
Supervise, plan, and participate in FATs and relevant tests with customers and subcontractors.
Organize dispatch with clients, informing Leading Hands one week before dispatch.
Ensure timely project completion, customer satisfaction, and financial goals.
Follow project progress from design to dispatch.
Comply with company HSEQ procedures, alerting management of any system risks and failures.

Qualifications of a Electrical Engineer:
Bachelor’s degree in the field of Electrical Engineering;
Minimum 2 years of work experience in relevant field.
