Designated point of contact for the consultants and clinic teams. To have an overview of all workflows in the admin team and to be responsible for consistency across the service. To ensure that all patient referrals received into the department are dealt with according to Trust processes, efficiently and effectively in a timely manner; that all details are registered and the referral letters are scanned promptly into the patients electronic notes. To regularly check future clinics, ensuring cover is agreed with the medical team, and under or overbooking issues are proactively dealt with. To obtain the necessary diagnostic tests/hospital notes needed for clinics, as required. To understand the complaints procedure and use initiative to resolve complaints from patients and other individuals as far as possible. Be able to understand when to escalate concerns and facilitateformal response by Consultants.

Clinical To undertake assessment, treatment, education and support for trauma and orthopaedic service patients and their carers. This will involve clinical reasoning and autonomous complex decision making using best available evidence. To provide holistic, timely OT intervention to facilitate safe hospital discharge. To be able to justify rationale for provision or non-provision of adaptive equipment, demonstrating its safe use and care to patients, staff and carers. Our Fragrance Advisers use their extensive knowledge and training to advise customers on the perfumes and other products for them. We want to ensure that our customers leave with “That Superdrug Feeling” – this means they receive exceptional customer service.

Your role at Superdrug as a Fragrance Adviser is all about serving customers mostly at the fragrance counter where you will deliver excellent service and encourage add on sales. You will also ensure that the fragrance counter and wider store is well merchandised, and a high level of presentation is always maintained. In addition, you will be involved in supporting the management team to achieve store targets. To support your development, you’ll also have the opportunity to be trained in ear and nose piercing to support our fast-growing piercing business in store (optional).

To provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment at first point of contact from a triage list and act as an autonomous clinician, with the support and guidance from the GPs and Prescribing Paramedic. It would be desirable to have the skills to assess children as well as adults. Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for patients at risk of developing a long-term condition (as appropriate). To evaluate clinical information from examination and history taking and initiate appropriate treatment and / or referral, including admission to hospital if required. To signpost appropriately to other services in the identified healthcare pathway and to refer patients to appropriate care settings, within locally agreed healthcare pathways. To maintain accurate and systematic documentation of patient interactions and clinical care provided, including adverse events. To advise and support members of the public on healthy lifestyles, health promotion and disease prevention. Ability to support GP administrative workload (pathology results and Docman) with suitable training and support Communication To liaise and interact with multi-professional teams across organisational boundaries, including primary care, social services and secondary care providers according to patient needs and appropriate care pathways.
