We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Accredited Clinical Coder to join the team and perform a vital role in supporting the delivery of the Clinical Coding Service.

To be considered for a Band 5 position you will have obtained your National Clinical Coding Qualification and have experience coding across a range of specialties.

The position is open to non-qualified applicants who can demonstrate the skills required and show commitment to the training and self-development necessary to become qualified. As a Trainee Clinical Coder, you would be recruited to a Band 3 position and be required to attend the office for training. Having achieved an appropriate standard during training, and if interested, you will be offered the option of working from home.

As a coding professional with NHS coding experience, you will be expected to demonstrate competence in the use of the classifications and the application of coding rules and standards. The post holder is responsible for extracting, collating and coding clinical information, often highly complex in nature, relating to the diagnoses and operations for admitted care patients. This requires the application of all complex and routine coding rules and conventions pertaining to ICD10 (International Classification of Diseases) and OPCS4 (Classification of Interventions & Procedures), incorporating published national standards.

Individual accreditation and a commitment to ongoing professional development required from this role provide the Trust with confidence in the data quality of clinically coded information. A significant part of this role will be to ensure the quality and coverage of your own and colleagues’ clinical coding meets the Trust and industry regulated standards and positively enhances reputation at local and national level

The Learning and Development Team is looking for an apprentice to join our team. This is an exciting role within the team and one that will be extremely rewarding for the right candidate.

This is a 17 month Fixed Term Contract. Apprenticeship roles at MKUH are Fixed Term for the duration of the training.
You will be paid the apprentice rate for months 1-12, and then versus your age for months 13 to completion.

This is a fabulous opportunity to undertake a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship whilst learning many key ‘on the job’ skills. Your role will often be the first point of contact for our staff, so you’ll need the right interpersonal skills and a drive to deliver excellent levels of customer service. You’ll need good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build and sustain good relationships in and outside the hospital; good attention to detail and computer literacy.

The Learning and Development Team manage CPD Funding, appraisals, Mandatory Training, work experience and apprenticeships. The OD arm of the team manages the internal management training, staff benefits, annual staff survey along with many other ad-hoc projects.

The post holder will be a member of the Primary Care Plus team. .This post has the responsibility for providing effective day to day mental health care and management to clients with mental health problems presenting in Primary Care. The PCP team provides a single pathway for assessment, referral management and care coordination on behalf of patients with more complex mental health problems presenting in Primary Care. The post holder will offer short term mental health interventions to support this client group within primary care settings and will work at the primary secondary care interface to facilitate movement of clients between primary and secondary care services. PCP provides a dedicated service package to support those newly discharged from secondary care and their GP practice. The service sees adults with bladder and or bowel dysfunction with or without incontinence. The post holder will take a key role in the delivery of the service including assessment, development of individualised treatment plans, give advice to patients, carers, healthcare workers and care home staff, both in clinic settings and at domiciliary visits. Takes responsibility of new visits/assessments, workload management and allocation, dealing with referrals, Maintains close liaison with the District Nursing teams, GP and other members of the primary care team and wider health and social care. You must have experience of working in mental health services at secondary care level with complex presentations with women who may also be in crisis and who express suicidality. Experience of working in the Perinatal Mental Health field is desirable, and/or a keen interest in this specialist area alongside experience of facilitating group treatments. Experience of trauma focussed care and working with bereaved families is desirable. The team is part of the wider Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes (BLMK) specialist perinatal mental health provision and there will be opportunities for networking with perinatal psychologists in this new and developing area of specialism across BLMK, the East of England Region and within CNWL. Warehouse Stock Checker - Milton Keynes - £22,405

The position

• This is a full time permanent position based at our customers distribution centre in Milton Keynes
• Rate of pay: £22,405 per annum
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus daily 30-min unpaid break

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative

As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.

Our activities vary, so often, you may be required to work across multiple different workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits and Load Adherence checks most of which require periods of manual handling.

Job activities

• Audit the Inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
• Audit Picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and fully investigate all errors found.
• Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
• Maintain integrity at all times.
• Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
• Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.
