We are looking for someone to support service users in the community across Aberdeen City. We are looking for someone who can show empathy, compassion, and understand the needs of vulnerable people. The right person would be someone who can offer high standards of care, be flexible, committed, enthusiastic. Interim Care at Home is a Bon Accord Care service offering short term care and support in our service user’s own homes. We provide person centred care packages and work alongside other professionals to ensure needs are meet through high quality support. Through this co-ordinated care we support to maximise wellbeing, whilst ensuring our service users have control and choice over their care and how it is delivered.

The shift patterns are 07:30 – 13:30 and 16:00 – 22:00. We work on a 2-week rota to meet the needs of the service, where you would be working every second weekend. There is a 33% enhancement rate for working after 20:00 and 40% enhancement rate for working Saturdays and Sundays

Full training and comprehensive induction, PVG Paid, Local Government Pension, Refer a friend bonus scheme, Mileage paid at 45p per mile, Annual leave starting at 28 days plus public holidays pro-rota.

This involves working closely with tenants, owners, technical staff and contractors to satisfactorily progress a variety of works programmes from kitchens to re-roofing. Some tenants are reluctant to accept the opportunity to have home improvements such as having new windows, or a bathroom fitted. Landlords and homeowners are also missing the opportunity to participate in programmes to improve the exterior of their homes. We are looking for individuals to deal with a variety of barriers that may be affecting tenants and their ability to sign up for investment programmes. This will range from communication issues to dealing with physical and mental health and addiction issues.

Confident individuals are needed who have experience of dealing with customers and resolving their issues. You will be an effective communicator, a good team player, you should be able to relate to service users and vulnerable people and have a positive and enthusiastic approach to work.

An SVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline is essential. Quality Technician

Solihull, Birmingham B40 1AB

Salary: £33,700 p.a.

Role Overview

We are on the lookout for a permanent dynamic Quality Technician to join our client's team. Reporting into the Senior Quality Engineer you will support operations driving internal and external quality issues. Working 40-hour week on 3 shift rotation: afternoons (14:00-22:00), mornings (06:00-14:00) and nights (22:00-06:00).

As a Quality Technician your role will consist of:

• Ensure working & master samples are valid and available for production
• Issue and monitor Quality Alerts and ensure they are being adhered to
• Initiate temporary/permanent fix to quality problems
• Ensure audits on product have been conducted
• Assist customer for concerns on shift
• Visit customer when required
• Support line trials
• Global 8D reporting - using multifunctional team support
• Understanding IATF16949, ISO 9001 quality standards
• Ability to understand engineering drawings
• Able to generate informative and accurate data

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• ONC (or equivalent) in Q/C Techniques
• Working knowledge of FMEA's and control plans
• Process & Product Audit experience
• Metrology Experience
• X-rite colour measurement
• APQP understanding
• Good communicator at all levels within the business
• PC skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Project
• Knowledge of Paint, Plastic and Assembly high volume processes
