JOB DESCRIPTION

Company background: Manufacturing

1)Fully in charge of handling bank accounts including bank reconciliation and managing the local and foreign account.

2) Analyze and prepare monthly forecast report on the company cash movement. 3)Preparing and monitoring budget for each department

4)Fully in charge of monitoring the company cash flow and ensuring the cash is sufficient for operating expenses.

5)Fully in charge of Account Payable including preparing the monthly Ageing Report and creditor reconciliation.

6)Prepare the payment listing for the local and foreign supplier to ensure all the payments can be made as scheduled.

7)Fully in charge of monitoring the Account Receivable and assisting the subordinate to ensure all payment receives as per scheduled.

8)Fully in charge of monitoring and checking the entire invoice to ensure the entire invoice input correctly and precisely.

9)Prepare all preliminary work in closing monthly management report and liaise with other department in compile and record closing document.

10)Assist on preparation of periodical management accounts, cash flow planning, financial analysis, and report to top management.

11)Prepare schedule and report for year-end Audit and Tax Computation.

12)Fully in charge of the tax queries by the tax agent on expenses and payable items.

13)Work closely with other departments in performing company sales, purchasing and other financial reporting activities.

14)Coordinate twice a year stock internal stock take activity.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Operator is an hourly employee within Valspar’s paint and coating plants. Responsibilities may include following batch tickets, physically preparing and loading materials, and monitoring the production process.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Follows batch ticket and other instructions to complete the paint and coating production or rework process.
• Stages, prepares, lifts, and loads raw materials and other components required for the production process; may also utilize a computerized, mechanical, or automatic process to lift and/or load materials.
• Monitors and adjusts gauges, valves, switches, pumps, and other components according to production requirements; follows appropriate sampling techniques.
• Lifts and prepares items required for the filling, labeling, packaging, and transporting of products.

o Perform batch ticket completion and closing in EBS system following the batch ticket recording.

o Run report to analyze manufacturing yield and escalate any abnormality to production engineer for further

troubleshooting.

o As the document controller for production department in handling completed batch tickets, and hardcopy

SOP/WI/Form/Records according to the company policy.

o Support Production Manager in preparing documentation, setting up meeting, running EBS report and retrieving

production records.

o Managing production consumable inventories and raise purchase requisition accordingly.

The hiring company

This is an integrated transport and logistics company, providing international freight forwarding and logistics services across Asia, Australia and Europe/America continents. Currently they have openings in the administration and operations roles at their 3PL warehouse facilities at the North Port and West Port in Port Klang area.

The vacancies are permanent positions and form part of the warehouse operations team to manage the cargo/shipments that have been imported or to be exported.

About the job

This role (the job) is mainly warehouse base and therefore not in a conventional office environment. 

This is a full-time permanent position and the role is primarily to help facilitate the smooth running of the warehouse operations activities. Supporting the operations and administrative activities at warehouse, the Warehouse Assistant/Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt of goods/cargo into and out the internal system according to customers specifications. Additional duties will include managing and filing all the necessary paper works, generating reports, cross checking information and general administration duties.

Job Requirements

•Malaysian Male or Female age 25-35.

•Qualification: Minimum SPM or Diploma in any discipline.

•2-3 years of work experience in administration and administration of 3PL warehouse facilities.

•Knowledge of both warehouse and logistics practices would be advantageous.

•Be able to demonstrate excellent literacy/numeral skills.

•Have accurate and fast typing/data entry skills.

•Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office(Word, Excel)

•Good communication skills with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

•Have access to a reliable means of transport to West/North Port area.
