Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will includemandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As a vehicle technician you’ll have some key tasks and activities within your area of responsibility:


Provide technical and diagnostic service ensuring customer satisfaction and productivity targets are met and exceeded
Maintain the highest level of technical knowledge and ensure compliance with manufacturer training
Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards
Ensure 100% compliance with vehicle health check processes


This position is offered on a full-time working contract of 46.31 hours a week paying £33,660 with and an OTE of £40,000 reporting to the Aftersales Manager. Our average Vehicle Technician earnings were £42,000 last year, with our higher performing technicians earning on average £58,000!

Required Skills & Experience

To be considered for the position you will need to possess a relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3) as a minimum. We are looking for individuals who possess the following attributes & skills:


A full UK driving licence
Experience of inspection, repair and servicing motor vehicles
MOT Tester qualification would be highly beneficial
Fantastic verbal and written English skills
Previous experience working in a franchised dealership (preferred but not essential)

Allen Motor Group are currently looking to employ a Sales Advisor to join our Ford dealership in Rayleigh. This role is all about loving our customers – you’ll be managing and assisting with both face to face and digital enquires to make sure that they drive away in the right product.

As a Sales Advisor you’ll have some key tasks and activities within your area of responsibility:


Handing of inbound and outbound enquiries via email/telephone and digitally
Meeting personal and team-based sales targets
Guiding customers through the whole purchase process, advising on extended warranty, accessories, and financial products
Adhering to industry rules and regulations regarding the sale of financial products and insurance


This position is offered on a 5-day, 42 hour working week, with a £22,770 basic salary + uncapped commission, bonus and company car, reporting to the Sales Manager. The job does involve sales targets, achieving these targets in the right way for our customers meant that our average Sales Advisor earned £46,000 last year!
