Your role would be to support the aims and objectives of the nursery and assist the management team in the organisation of a high quality establishment for children from birth to 5 years. You will work under the direction of the Room Leaders, Manager and Deputy, and form part of the senior team. You must be capable of leading a team of professional workers and ensure good practice at all times. You will assist with the planning and organisation of the nursery as a whole, ensuring quality is maintained in accordance with nursery procedures. You will support children with SEN needs and ensure they have strategies in place to meet their needs, and ensure they make good progress from their starting points. The role will be room based, with scheduled time out to complete training and the paperwork side of the role.

A substantive Consultant in Pain Management at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

This post will compliment an existing medical team of 5 Consultants and 1 Nurse Consultant.The job plan will involve 8 programmed activities (PA’s) each week across Pain and anaesthetics, the PA’s within the Pain Management element will comprise of Out-patient clinics , Operating session in the Day case unit and Multi-disciplinary meetings supporting the Palliative Care Team. As a patient-centred, clinically led organisation we expect our clinical partners to participate in care-pathway development, research, audit and teaching. The successful applicant will be allocated a mentor and be given time to understand the processes of the department.

The appointee will be expected to fulfil the following duties with the agreed Job Plan.

Clinical
• Provision with Consultant colleagues of a comprehensive elective service.
• Clinic and theatre numbers would be in keeping with the guidelines.
• Provision of reciprocal cover for periods of leave.
• Continuing responsibility for the care of patients in his/her charge and the proper functioning of the department.

The successful candidate will be expected to comply with all relevant policies relating to administration of patient care. This includes working to set timescales for the triage of referrals, following the specified process for the management of patients that do not attend (DNA) their appointment or admission, and the completion of all paperwork deemed necessary to support the management of their patients within agreed timescales. We also undertake Daycase pain injections in our Day Surgery Unit. Our Nurse Consultant provides nurse-led Pain Management including post injection follow-up, medication and annual reviews as well as undertaking pain infusions in the Medical Daycase Unit at the Treatment Centre (on the QMC Campus).

About the Role

The Fleet Services team are looking for a qualified and experienced HGV Mechanic to work in the Shannon Workshop at Eastcroft Depot. The Shannon Workshop provides a repair and maintenance service for both the Councils internal fleet and a number of external customers, which includes a diverse range of HGVs, light vehicles and road-going plant.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver an extensive programme of vehicle maintenance, repair, inspection and examination. They will work to ensure compliance with statutory legislation, the legal requirements of the Councils Operators Licence, DVSA requirements and internal Council policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will also be able to work on their own initiative and to strict deadlines; at all times ensuring that a high quality standard of work is delivered.

The role is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking local authority who are looking to expand their commercial fleet business.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Heavy Motor Vehicle Engineering, or equivalent
• Qualified to VOSA standards for HGV inspections and tests
• Possess a full driving licence with category C entitlement
• Experience of conducting maintenance, inspection, repair and test services for a diverse range of HGVs, light vehicles and road-going plant
• Ability to work on own initiative and to meet strict deadlines

The successful candidate will take project management responsibility for establishing, managing and delivering multiple projects within the Innovation & Change team for the Parking service area - including the WPL, Parking Services (on and off-street parking) and Parking Regulation & Compliance teams. This will include project planning, managing delivery schedules, financial management, stakeholder management, project governance, issue and risk management and reporting of programme and project information.
