We are seeking an experienced Export Controller & Marcoms Lead to join our clients well- established manufacturing company based in Sandwich, Kent.

This is a fixed term contract for approx. 9-12 months. This position is subject to SC security level clearance, to obtain this you must have lived in the UK for 5 years or more. A valid passport & driving licence is essential to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Controller:

1. Export Licensing: Handle all aspects of export control, ensuring that company orders and activities follow proper export control policies and licensing requirements.

We are operational 24/6 and you’ll cover various early and late shifts, 35hrs pw. About the Role:
As a PCO at our court, you’ll work as part of a team to provide safe and secure escorting and custody services to detainees, focusing on maintaining their physical and mental wellbeing. During court proceedings, you’ll be responsible for every aspect of detainee management until it’s time for them to return to custody or be released. Key duties include:

- Escorting defendants to and from courtrooms, cells, and other areas within the court, including accompanying them to the toilet to ensure security and safety. This may involve being handcuffed to the detainee.
- Monitoring and supervising detainees while they are in the docks during court sessions, ensuring they remain secure and do not pose a risk to themselves or others.
- Being privy to sensitive and confidential information discussed during court proceedings, including testimonies, legal arguments etc. Maintaining discretion and confidentiality is paramount. Being prepared to listen to harrowing and distressing testimonies and evidence. It is crucial to maintain professionalism and provide support to detainees while managing your own emotional wellbeing.
- Ensuring that detainees have access to food and drink throughout the day, catering to any dietary requirements or restrictions.
- Monitoring the mental and physical health of detainees, providing support and reporting any concerns to the appropriate authorities.
- Ensuring the safety and security of the court environment, including responding to any incidents or emergencies that may arise. Conducting thorough searches of property and individuals to prevent contraband from entering secure areas.
- Completing necessary paperwork and data entry accurately, including logging detainee movements, incidents, and any other relevant information.
- Working closely with other court staff, law enforcement, and legal professionals to ensure smooth and secure court operations

Our current PCO’s come to us with different work & life experiences, what you’ve done before doesn’t matter, what matters is that you’re committed to making a difference to the lives of others – the rest you will learn during your 5 1/2-weeks training course and through our experienced colleagues.

Ideally, you’ll have a current valid driver's license, be reasonably fit and have good written and verbal communications skills, using those skills to manage and control all situations. This role requires a high level of responsibility, vigilance, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and care. You will be an integral part of the judicial process, ensuring that justice is administered safely and securely. Retail Merchandising Team Driver

Are you looking for retail work? Do you like driving and working all over the country? Do you have a keen eye for detail? Are you looking for a role that is varied and flexible?

As a Retail Merchandising Driver for Momentum Instore, you will be working in major retailers around the country. We will provide you with transport and accommodation, with a team of merchandisers to replenish shelves.

Flexibility is key! The hours and days/nights of work vary with each project, although usually you will be expected to work 11 hour shifts. We aim to keep the work near to home, but you may be needed to travel and stay away from home.

A full UK driving licence is essential as you need to drive yourself and your team colleagues to store. We will provide you with a pool or hire car. You will need to be over 23 years old and been driving for at least two years. This is for insurance purposes.

Knowledge of retailing and experience of planograms and merchandising is useful, but we offer a 13 week training plan to applicants with a great work attitude.

We will fast-track anyone who have previous experience in systems / dressing or team leading.

The nitty-gritty

As a Retail Merchandiser, you will need to:


Merchandise and replenish shelves using planograms within a set timescale.
Profile shelving, install equipment and implement display to a high standard.

Lifting and manual handling up to 25kgs may be necessary.

The job -

• To liaise with Supervisors & Management to ensure the general upkeep and maintenance in all areas of the hotel.
• To be able to prioritise daily tasks based on the requirements of the hotel.
• To be familiar with the layout/ plan of the hotel and the working of all equipment in the building.
• To ensure maintenance areas are locked and permitted people only can access those areas
• To ensure all painting jobs are completed to company standard
• To ensure all areas are left clean and tidy on completion of the job.

• Deal with all electrical, plumbing, heating, HVAC and other maintenance issues on a daily basis.
• Co-ordinate and supervise outside contractors when required.
• Deal with all servicing, product guarantee and warranty related issues.
• Respond to Maintenance Related Call-out when required.
• Carry out Preventative Maintenance in line with the Departments Preventative Maintenance Schedule.
• Observe all of the requirements under the Health and Safety at Work Act Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• To conduct checks of the emergency procedures and equipment.
• To ensure a stock of regularly used maintenance supplies is available.

A client within the public sector based in the East Midlands is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, contract position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority environment.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to manage the Councils building and maintenance projects, providing technical specialist advice in Mechanical Building Services Engineering, ensuring that all works are carried out in an efficient manner.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Act as a key advisor to the Corporate Landlord on compliance of the Corporate Estate, in accordance with ISO 55000 International Standards for Asset Management.
• Be the Councils technical specialist for mechanical engineering, overseeing compliance, servicing, and projects.
• Provide a lead role in the programme planning, resource planning, budget planning, quality of service and value for money of the sections projects. Take a lead role in budget forecasting and monitoring.
• Ensure all property and construction work carried out by the Council complies with relevant statutory legislation, codes of practice and professional guidance documents.
• Take a lead role in the preparation of the Councils property and construction Frameworks and contracts.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require to be degree qualified or equivalent in control or mechanical engineering or to have completed a foundation degree, BTEC HNC/HND in mechanical engineering or a related engineering subject.

It will be essential to be in experiences in the below:

• Experience and considerable relevant practice experience in the design, installation and management of Mechanical building services, desirable but not essential.
• Experience of specifying and managing building electrical and mechanical works for a range of term, and main contractors
• Ideally, be a Chartered Mechanical Engineer: MIMechE

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £25 p/h Umbrella Ltd. (approx. £20 p/h PAYE)
