Oversee the management of admin staff absence in liaison with Human Resources and Occupational Health Departments Carry out performance review interviews for staff ensuring that training and developmental needs are met. Critically analyse the replacement of vacancies and, where appropriate, re-design the staffing profile to meet the current and future changing service needs and to achieve service objectives and efficiencies. Participate in recruitment and selection process for administrative vacancies where appropriate, including all associated paperwork. You'll be covering out of hours on call (5pm-9am and 9am-9am), working 5 days per week with access to Consultant advice.

On calls are completed from home but the post holder would be required to come into the service as needed, so the ability to travel is essential.

The post holder will be required to understand ward systems, taking into account the needs of patients who require admission, transfer and discharge, and be expected to communicate with a wide range of professionals, consultants, doctors, nursing staff and patients/relativesand carers, organising own workload in order to maintain an efficient and professional service.
