We are an integrated Children and Young People (CYP) Community Nursing Service providing specialist nursing care to CYP with complex physical health needs. This includes Community Children’s Nursing , special school nursing and respite provision. Significant investment in our Special School Nursing team means we are looking for several new posts to support the growing number of CYP with complex health needs in Coventry’s special schools. This post is for an experienced children’s nurse/ learning disability nurse with extensive children’s experience. The post will act as a senior nurse the five special schools the service supports facilitating the team of nurses and carers to meet the complex physical health needs of pupils in school.

Extensive experience of working with children or young people with complex physical health needs is essential ideally in a variety of settings but especially special schools. The post requires you to hold a children’s qualification either RN Child or RGN with an RSCN qualification. Candidates who are registered LD or adult nurses and can demonstrate extensive experience working with children with complex health needs will be considered.

• Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of Fire and Security Systems with preferred knowledge in CCTV systems
• Strong technical knowledge of Fire Alarms, Intruder, CCTV, Access Control, Intercoms, Extinguishers
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry standards
• Both Installation and Reactive/Preventative Maintenance

Professional Qualifications & Licenses (holding or working towards a distinct advantage)

• Certification or training in Fire and Security Systems installation and maintenance
• A full five-year checkable employment history including a minimum of 2 work references, a personal credit check, right of work compliance
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• CSCS Card (preferred but not essential)
• IPAF Licence
• Other appropriate qualifications

SERVICE

• Deliver a best-in-class service through a quality resourced and well managed infrastructure

Specific tasks include:

• Install, configure, commission and test systems

We are looking to recruit a site services officer to support our site teams across the trust.This role plays a crucial part in the smooth running of our schools. Under the day-to-day supervision of the Senior SSO and under the direction of the MAT Facilities Manager and schools SLT you will support the site team in the provision of all site service activities during the week and the weekdays as cover.
This includes janitorial, cleaning, maintenance, and monitoring duties and ensuring the site is safe, well-maintained, attractive, and a suitable environment for the educational and community activities taking place on-site and across other schools in the MAT as required.
