As an IT Specialist (APPSW), you will:

• Plan and implement system integration and acceptance testing operations.

The Satellite Pharmacy provides clinical pharmacy services to inpatients and ambulatory oncology/hematology patients and supports investigational drug development and trials by providing authoritative advice on the medications aspects of research protocols.

The ideal candidate for the Oncology-Hematology-Satellite Supervisor position will be an exceptionally talented, knowledgeable, and motivated Clinical Pharmacist with extensive sterile compounding experience and expertise providing pharmaceutical care to complex, oncology and hematology patients to include the monitoring of investigational studies for compliance with research protocols; reviewing drug therapy for proper drug selection, rational indications, dosing, adverse drug reactions, drug interactions, IV incompatibilities, and complications of multiple drug therapies; and providing ongoing education to physicians, nurses, and pharmacists on pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacogenetics, and other aspects of drug therapy.

Duties for the Supervisory Pharmacist (Oncology/Hematology - Satellite) will include but are not limited to the following:

• Providing pharmaceutical care to complex oncology/hematology patients
• Serving on in-house panels, medication related committees and work groups
• Developing templates based on new and amended research protocols to guide medication preparation activities
• Collaborating with internal staff and clinical researchers in the design and implementation of research protocols, collection of data, and analysis of results.
• Coordinating drug retrieval and preparation based on drug stability, preparation complexity and patient arrival time
• Reviewing of medication orders for compliance with research protocols
• Reviewing medication orders for standard of care indications, dosing, adverse drug reactions, drug interactions, IV incompatibilities and supportive care regimens
• Collaborating with providers in the design and optimization of complex drug treatment plans.

• Serve as a financial management analyst, advising on matters of budget and financial issues affecting programs within the assigned program area.
• Provide advice on actions and ramifications of policy and programmatic adjustments on research cost and budget issues.
• Analyze and evaluate continual changes in program plans, objectives and funding and their effect on financial and budget program milestones.
• Develop recommendations regarding the extent and kind of program adjustments required by ceiling allowances and functions, changes in executive policy and significant program developments which might constitute a reason for requesting a supplemental appropriation or transfer of funds.
• Review budget justification data submitted and developed in support of budget estimates by comparison with historical documents, trend data, and program knowledge for accuracy and adequacy.
• Assist efforts to improve or develop financial management systems and related policies, goals and objectives for organization's programs. Assess systems and procedures used to generate financial reports for the quality, and utility of the data and data displays.

• Performs the full range of duties in the investigation/apprehension of suspected offenders, such as: carrying a firearm or other weapon to enforce and maintain law and order.
• Patrols assigned area on foot or in a patrol vehicle.
• Investigates suspicious situations and takes appropriate action such as identifying and arresting suspected violators based on probable cause.
• Officer may be required to take law enforcement action off the property of the agency.
• Develops and follows leads, takes statements, and gathers bits of information and facts.
• Searches vehicles, persons, and packages entering the organization for weapons of mass destruction or contraband.
• Responds to bomb threats which includes searching for locating and differentiating between harmless and suspicious biohazards and chemicals.
• Works radar equipment and enforces speed limits. Issues citations for speeding, traffic and parking violations.
• Investigates traffic accidents, noting location of vehicles involved; any skid marks; violation of traffic laws, recording measurements and photographing crime scene, issues violation notices, and prepares documentation for court.
