The Role
To manage data & performance management systems to support the Housing Options and other Team Leaders and managers in the delivery of a high quality Housing Options & Advice Service including homelessness, housing need and access related functions across Community Housing Services (CHS) as well as wider prevention and relief assistance, related policies and practices.
To undertake troubleshooting and system reviews across all aspects of housing access process including choice based lettings, housing options, temporary and supported accommodation and move-on and to project manage individual service and system improvements as directed.
To co-ordinate and manage the delivery of regular performance and other monitoring data across the Housing Options and other CHS services.
To work closely with other agencies internally & externally in order to provide housing access options, prevent homelessness and to provide for the needs of homeless households & others in housing need.
About You
As the Data Access and Performance officer you will:
Manage projects and troubleshoot system reviews across housing options, advice services, and related Community Housing Services. This includes processes for housing access, homelessness prevention, choice-based lettings, temporary accommodation, and move-on support.
You will lead service and system improvements as directed by the service manager, identifying and addressing process issues to improve effectiveness and outcomes, monitored through responsive performance systems. Additionally, you will coordinate data and performance monitoring to support service improvement and maintain performance management in junction with Team Leaders, Principal Officers and HOASGM.
This involves developing expertise in data capture and reporting systems, working closely with team leaders and senior officers to enhance performance reporting processes, and ensuring regular data reports are provided for both internal and external requirements. Your role will ensure service processes are efficient and aligned with the broader goals of effective housing and homelessness services.
