The purpose of an Assistant Manager is to deputise in the Registered Manager’s absence, taking responsibility for the management of the home, including the staff team, and the welfare of the children and young people. You will share responsibility for ensuring that all practices are developed and performed within organisational policies and procedures and the legislative framework. Starting salary - £32,846.00 per annum with biennial increments
Additional enhancements - £96.00 for sleep-in shifts and a 25% uplift on hourly rate for weekend shifts.

What can you bring to the team….?

• An essential for this role is a QCF level 4 Leadership & Management in care and QCF level 3 Health & Social Care (Children & young people) or equivalent.

• Ability to organise and manage the planning and implementation of new developments within time constraints.
• Knowledge of the National Care Standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. You’ll be expected to liaise with other staff, parents/carers, and professionals.

• A good standard of written English and IT skills would be essential, you will be writing reports and keep record of the Children and Young Peoples progress.

To liaise directly with voluntary and other support agencies in order to gain information on available community services appropriate to clients To demonstrate understanding of the roles of other MDT members and work in partnership with them in order to contribute to MDT assessment of clients. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join the Inpatient Therapy Team in Bolton. The successful applicant will be based mainly on the Medical , Complex Care and 'No Criteria to reside' Wards at the Royal Bolton Hospital

The Inpatient Therapy team work as part of an integrated MDT with the nursing and wider MDT team including those from the Integrated Discharge Team.

As a member of the wider MDT you will work alongside and support specialist therapy staff in providing specialist treatment, intervention and advice - guided by a qualified therapist. The post offers the opportunity to develop skills within Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy within a supportive environment alongside other existing therapy assistants.

Assisting Therapy Staff on the wards in the day to day assessment, treatment and management of patients

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Inpatient Therapy Team.

The Inpatient Therapy Team work across both Acute Medical and Complex Care wards at the Royal Bolton Hospital. The team consists of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists as well as Therapy Assistants. The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of the wider Integrated Discharge and Therapy service involving ‘Discharge to Assess’ pathways. We work as part of a health and social care multidisciplinary team comprising of AHPS, Medics, Pharmacists, Social Workers and Nurses.

Candidates will have recent and relevant post registration experience and an interest in elderly rehabilitation and discharge planning in an acute setting.

Candidates will need to be able to travel to meet the needs of this post and will therefore need access to a vehicle for work. The post will provide an excellent opportunity for individuals that enjoy working as part of a close multi-disciplinary/multi agency team.
