As the Deputy Director of Strategy and Innovation, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our hospitals and wider system by ensuring we explore, analyse and understand our context, population and direction, developing robust strategic insight and evaluation capabilities, and building collaborative programmes to progress our goals. You will lead on building strategic partnerships that benefit our patients, staff and residents, including effective community engagement, patient involvement and the adoption of healthcare innovation.



The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong analytical skills and a logical, results-driven approach. A capacity to travel across our various sites is essential.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of the Target Operating Model, ensuring alignment with the Trusts strategic and clinical objectives. Engage with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of the new hospitals operating model with other Trust initiatives. Provide strategic oversight and direction for the Target Operating Model, including the preparation of business cases and cost models. As a Service Director you will be accountable and provide effective leadership, development and management for the Adult Social Care services ensuring the highest possible quality of service is delivered within the resources available.

Main Responsibilities

As a Service Director, you will be responsible for:

• To have lead accountability for influencing the Council and its key partners in bringing together innovative approaches to meeting needs that are cost effective and deliver real improvements in outcomes
