We are seeking an experienced professional shipbroker for expansion and development of our Tankers Team.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for working closely with the CEO and Japan head office’s direction to improve current business operation and revise them to achieve the company’s long-term vision. Additionally, will be handling various teams including human resources, government affairs, compliance and legal matters to ensure alignment and execution of the strategic plans.
2. Develop and articulate the company's overall strategic direction and vision.
3. Conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.
4. Identify strategic risks and help to reduce these risks and ensures overall compliance with applicable laws and regulations
5. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing strategies and recommend adjustments as needed.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform strategic decision-making.
7. Actively support the CEO and BOD on strategic initiatives.

2. Strong understanding of the business landscape and be able to identify opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate the business model, ensuring its fit with the target market and potential for scalability
• Lead the development and implementation of the strategies for marketing, sales, product development, and operations

• Ensure the startup's compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

About the role

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of audit professionals and manage a portfolio of audit clients
• Oversee proper execution of external audit engagement including planning, execution of fieldwork and review of audit engagements
• Develop and maintain client relationships develop new business opportunities
• Involvement in functional areas and development of new service lines

Requirements:

• A recognized degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, Australia or equivalent
• Experience in shipping industry is an advantage
• Relevant experience with large/medium size public accounting firms
• Excellent communication, technical and interpersonal skills
