The post holder should be competent in angiography/pacing or at performing echocardiograms, ideally working towards national accreditation for either CRM or Echocardiography. This will include following a personal development plan as part of the appraisal system. The post holder will remain professional at all times, liaise with other clinical teams and maintain good public relations on a one-to-one basis with the general public and other interest groups. The post holder will work as part of the Diagnostic Cardiology team to provide high quality cardiac diagnostics, with patient care at the forefront. As a band 7 Chief Cardiac Physiologist you will expected to perform complex diagnostics independently, as well as actively contributing to service development. The department currently conducts 12 lead ECGs, provocative ECG including MIBI and ETTs, ambulatory monitoring, Holter analysis and transthoracic echocardiography. We also provide transoesophageal echo, stress/contrast/bubble echo and physiologist-led valve disease clinics. We have a modern state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, where diagnostic angiography, ILR, pacemaker and CRT implants are performed. Alongside this we run a full in-clinic and remote bradycardia pacing and ILR follow up service, with a CRTP follow up service which we hope to expand. The post holder will be expected to contribute to an area of service delivery, as well as line-manage and train junior staff. The post holder will be expected to take an active role in service development, contributing to education, audit and quality assurance within the department.

Summary:

Plans and manages all aspects of the organization’s safety, health and environmental program, holding direct responsibility for compliance with global safety, health and environmental regulations, as well as company policies, which are designed to exceed compliance standards, within AFB’s global facilities by performing the following duties.

Job Duties:

Develop an EHS roadmap and departmental strategic initiatives which align with the organization’s values and strategy.

Directs EHS efforts at the global level; develops and implements global programs and policies for monitoring and preventing chemical hazards, physical hazards, and environmental hazards at the facility, as well as managing workers compensation.

Bachelor’s degree in safety, industrial hygiene, or related field, Masters preferred; and ten or more years of broad related experience in US and international environmental, health and safety management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is strongly preferred.  Prior experience with Lean Six Sigma systems and tools highly desired.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Director, Commercial Credit, you will manage a major segment of risk rated credits from Commercial Banking in Western Canada. By exercising good credit judgment and providing leadership to a group of risk managers, you will ensure that effective credit policies and strategies are in place and are adhered to in order to sustain portfolio quality and support effective portfolio growth. You will invest in relationships with visits to locations and some travel will be required to meet partners and clients or to work with the wider team.

How You’ll Succeed

• Portfolio Management – Measure, monitor and control credit risks, actively engaging your team to identify and assess challenges in accounts, industries, and shape action plans to effectively minimize capital and resource costs and loan losses. You will manage and review reporting processes to ensure that credit irregularities are identified and resolved on a timely basis and ensure performance of portfolio for trends; non-performing and problem accounts; assessing revenue and loss experience ratios; identification of under-performing units. Overall, you will assess effectiveness of current credit policies and procedures, develop action plans outlining corrective actions to be taken to resolve credit problems; and monitor such corrective plans for resolution and effectiveness.

Who You Are

• You have minimum of an undergraduate degree in business or equivalent.

• You have industry experience. 3-5 years industry-related experience and understanding of the Direct Financial Services business lines, products and services (in particular Simplii Financial). General knowledge of the operational, regulatory, and reputation risks associated with Direct Financial Services businesses and a comprehension of the policies, standards, processes and controls that need to be in place to mitigate these risks.

Accountabilities:

• Leads a growing team of U.S. Wealth Technology professionals of roughly 150 people (44 FTE, others Contingent)

• Portfolio management of roughly 45 applications and 10MM of year over year work.

• Manages development teams that are accountable for on-time, on-budget delivery of quality solutions which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of applications to ensure and/or maintain alignment with IT strategies and adhering to standards.
