The DCQM provides executive leadership and direct supervision over the following areas: Accreditation, Risk Management, External Peer Review, and Patient Safety. Works towards achievement of high quality, safety, and cost effective evidence based outcomes on a continual journey of a high reliability organization. Collaborates with both administrative and clinical services to monitor quality and safety within the service and medical center. The Nurse IV Deputy Chief of Quality Management for Performance Improvement executes leadership that is characterized by substantial and continuous responsibility and accountability for population groups or integrated programs that cross service and/or discipline lines, influence organizational mission and health care. The DCQMPI initiates, develops, leads, and directs the facility systems redesign, performance measures management, data analytics, High Reliability Organization, and Pathways to Excellence/Evidence Based Practice initiatives and programs.
