What You Will Do:

The Assistant Director of Brooks Career Management will deliver a comprehensive career management model and program for undergraduate and master’s students.  The position will report to the Brooks School’s Assistant Dean of Student Services and will work closely with the Associate Director of Brooks Career Management. Together the Associate and Assistant Directors, supported by student services and program administrative staff, will work with approximately 200 undergraduate and 300 master’s students in the Brooks School.

Job Description:

Audition Scheduling & Operation Logistics:

• Ensures the successful implementation of the Audition and Interview (A&I) program.

• Coordinates and oversees operations and personnel for on campus, on the road, and online A&I events.

• Creates and hosts online audition events using the Zoom Video Communications platform and collaborates with necessary Enrollment and Marketing team members.

• Serves as a primary technical resource in the department for online auditions and interviews.

Position Summary: 

The System Director of Infrastructure & Technology is responsible for overseeing and managing the IT infrastructure and operations for the organization. Overtight includes managing the technology systems, networks, servers, storage, and software used in the organization. Effectively manages daily operations of the Bozeman Health’s Information Technology and PACS departments that includes data center operations, technical services, desktop, engineering, network operations and help desk. During the 2024-25 academic year, the Director of Student Conduct will lead the implementation of a newly revised Code of Student Conduct that seeks to center educational development and restorative responses. This highly collaborative process will involve engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders about the underlying principles, practices and procedures of student conduct and community standards. This unique leadership opportunity provides meaningful engagement with university leaders and broad engagement with the campus community. 

Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Student Affairs, the Director is responsible for supporting students in maintaining a safe, honest, and responsible campus community by leading efforts to address all reports of non-academic misconduct. Along with other members of the Office of Student Conduct, they direct educational and adjudicatory proceedings in a manner that holds students accountable and supports learning and development.

• Maintaining and overseeing any review and revision of the Code of Student Conduct, including the implementation of a revised Student Code for the 2024-25 school year
• Partnering with Residential Living to provide guidance, training, and oversight for student conduct practices within our residential communities
• Conducting training and outreach to educate and inform various constituents about community standards in general and the Code of Student Conduct in particular 
• Advancing, when appropriate, information and opportunities for alternative resolutions that meet the educational needs of the community, particularly Restorative Justice practices
• Liaising and collaborating with several university departments, committees and student organizations, including but not limited to the Office of Residential Living; Georgetown University Police Department; Office of Neighborhood Life; Counseling and Psychiatric Services; General Counsel; Case Management; Restorative Justice Task Force; Threat Assessment; Georgetown University Qatar Campus administration; student government; Student Advocacy Office; and others 
• Overseeing data management to track and report all data regarding student violations, sanctions, resolutions and participation eligibility

Requirements and Qualifications

• Master's degree in higher education, counseling, student personnel administration, law or related field – preference for Doctorate or Juris Doctorate
• At least 6 years of full-time, professional experience in student conduct, community standards, judicial services or related experience in a college or university setting – preference for 8 years of full-time, professional experience in student judicial services or related experience in a college or university setting 
• Understanding of - and commitment to - student development, character formation and community building – preference for Eight years’ full-time, professional experience in student judicial services or related experience in a college or university setting 
• Ability to handle sensitive cases and emergency situations and to make sound judgments regarding immediate priorities
• Demonstrable familiarity with current Title IX obligations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and writing skills and ability to express complex ideas to a variety of audiences
• Ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with a diverse community of students, parents and family members, faculty/staff, partner offices and the neighboring community

The Director, Co-op, Career & Experiential Education is accountable for strategic planning, financial & capital management, people leadership, policy development, community engagement and the overall operational effectiveness of the division. The incumbent will oversee a team of professionals who deliver programs and services supporting the University’s diverse and complex co-op program operations, curricular and co-curricular experiential education, and career development operations. The Director also has strategic oversight of industry and employer engagement, career curriculum and skill development research, student engagement, marketing strategies, technology delivery, community outreach, and the Gerald B. Mitchell Centre of Excellence in Career and Experiential Education.

As the Director, Co-op, Career & Experiential Education, you will: 

• Establish, execute and oversee multi-year divisional strategic and operational plans in collaboration with students, staff, faculty, and departments throughout the University, to support common goals and objectives;
• Establish, track and report on key metrics and performance indicators which demonstrate the effectiveness of core services;

A Day in the Life… 
Reporting to the Vice-Provost & Associate Vice-President, Academic and Deputy Provost the Associate Director, Faculty Relations leads and supports the development and delivery of programs and services within the Faculty Relations portfolio, including labour relations, academic human resources issues, faculty onboarding, development, tenure, and promotion. 

This role will establish and maintain effective relationships with the Brock University Faculty Association (BUFA) and act as primary point of contact for the President, Vice-Presidents, and Deans across the University on complex matters falling within the purview of the Faculty Relations portfolio. The incumbent will also provide support for bargaining with BUFA and expertise in the interpretation and operation of the faculty collective agreement.

The Associate Director plays an important role in the University’s efforts to continuously improve culture and enhance equity, diversity, inclusivity, through advising, coaching, mediation, and driving growth. The role will work very closely with colleagues in People and Culture, which provides immigration, salary, pension, and benefits support to faculty members and librarians. 

As the Associate Director, Faculty Relations you will: 

• Act as the first point of contact for BUFA labour relations issues and faculties regarding employee relations best practices, policies, and procedures; 
• Influence the senior leadership decision-making process through provision of strategic faculty labour relations advice, interpreting and describing the impact/risk of decisions on the University;
• Coordinate, prepare, and/or articulate the University’s response to faculty labour relations issues;
• Ensure all legislated, collective agreement, and policy-driven obligations of the University are met;
• Provide feedback and advice, influencing change initiatives that impact on faculty and librarian terms and conditions of employment;
• Represent the University in alternative dispute resolution processes including grievance and arbitration procedures and issues that may be referred to third-party adjudication;

• Undergraduate Degree in Employment Law, Human Resources, Labour and Employee Relations; 
• Experience as a labour relations expert (e.g., lead negotiator for collective agreements/renewals, advising leaders on labour relations issues, interpreting, and describing the impact/risk of decisions, overseeing the dispute resolution process including grievance, arbitrations, etc.);

• Effectively communicate complex concepts in presentations, regulatory submissions, and in technical reports to global audiences.

• Develop reprocessing methods, lead IFU validations, resolve cleaning and sterilization concerns during development.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Leads Global Partnerships and Programs area operations, managing the portfolio of Berklee Global Partnerships (BGP), Berklee on the Road (BOR), Berklee Latino (BL) and other global educational partnerships and programs.

● Supports the planning and leads implementation of all aspects of Global Partnerships and Programs.
● Supports the development of Global Partnerships and Programs contracts and agreements.
● Supports the development and manages the Global Partnerships and Programs area budget and related program budgets.
● Actively researches the performing arts and higher education landscapes to inform Global Partnerships and Programs strategic planning.
● Ensures effective use of technology, software systems and databases used by the area.
● Assists with the development of and implementation of the global travel schedule.
● Leads travel teams for Global Programs and Partnerships managed events and programs.
● Coordinates the evaluation of student and faculty initiated travel request proposals.
● Acts as an ambassador and representative of Berklee in support of the Global Programs and Partnerships department as needed.
● Develops reports for Global Programs and Partnerships and other areas as assigned for the area.
● Manages the development of area communications, including online and print content.
● Oversees Global Programs and Partnerships web presences and supports development of effective and timely Global Programs and Partnerships communications in support of the area
initiatives.
● May be asked as needed to make musical presentations and support the management of musical performances or concert events as part of Global Programs and Partnerships.
● Supports the exploration and development of global educational partnerships, and supervises relationships with Berklee’s global partners and monitors the efficacy of Global Programs and
Partnerships.
● Supports the development of and facilitates the management of Credit Transfer Agreement (CTA) relationships in support of Global Programs and Partnerships and Academic Affairs goals
and objectives.
● Serves as a member of the international travel development team and credit transfer agreement committee.
● Manages the communications with the network of Global Programs and Partnerships.
● Manages the development of the BGP Summit and BGP Faculty Seminar events.
● Specifically develops, manages, and directs the application processing and administrative systems for Global Programs and Partnerships.
● Develops and directs online, in-person and hybrid educational programming.
● Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
● Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in higher education and/or performing arts management.
● Musical training and skill required.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
● Knowledge of computer technology as it relates to office systems used at Berklee.

● Knowledge of software systems and databases used in Admissions for scheduling events, program management and event planning and the programming skills to improve and
create within those software systems.
● Specific knowledge of Berklee’s academic programs, majors, minors, courses and curriculum.
● Specific knowledge of Berklee’s staff and academic structure.
● Knowledge of international education and recruiting, immigration, and study abroad.
● Knowledge of social media and online communication platforms.
● Ability to work in an international environment and adapt to the cultural norms of the countries in which Berklee works and act as an agent of the college abroad.
● Experience developing and managing budgets.
● Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
● Ability to speak and understand languages other than English preferred.

● Oversee the work of and helps manage program academic directors.
● Manage sub-contracted employees for educational programs, performances, and other relevant events.

• Intégrateur clé pour les initiatives de l'entreprise en matière de commercialisation, de NPI et d'innovation de produits (R&D).
• Mettre en place une gestion de projet pour les opérations de la chaîne d'approvisionnement et le soutien global de la catégorie
• Soutenir le développement et le renouvellement des stratégies S&OP, IBP et LEAP pour la catégorie.
• Soutenir les recommandations pour la création, la justification et la mise en œuvre de tous les projets d'investissement.
• Soutenir la réalisation de tous les indicateurs clés de performance des opérations, y compris ceux liés à la commercialisation, à l'innovation, à la rénovation, aux économies de coûts, à la précision des prévisions et au service.
