We are looking for a talented and motivated IT Service Delivery Manager to be part of our IT Operations team. In this role, you will serve as the deputy to the Head of IT Operations and contribute significantly to both technical and strategic planning.
In this hands-on position, you will lead the front-facing IT teams and ensure high service standards, whether provided internally or by external partners.
Your excellent communication skills will enable you to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels and play a crucial role in establishing KPIs/SLAs for IT service delivery.
You will oversee the implementation and refinement of ITIL processes across BHFT, applying ITIL best practices, policies, and procedures. Your expertise will be essential in managing budgets and spearheading large-scale IT projects.

This is a full-time permanent role based at our Bath Road office in Reading, with options for agreed remote working.
• Spearhead ITIL Service Management across IT Operations, ensuring best practices and continuous service improvement
• Lead and develop highly skilled multidisciplinary IT teams, promoting a culture of learning and development
• Develop, monitor, and manage KPIs/SLAs for IT services, ensuring high levels of service delivery
• Manage the service desk platform to optimize user experience and service efficiency
• Lead key technical projects, ensuring seamless transitions from project completion to business-as-usual operations
• Manage budgets, including supporting a £4m annual end-point device replacement project.
• Collaborate with business and clinical teams to align IT services with organizational goals and needs
• Oversee IT asset lifecycle management, procurement, and supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective solutions.

The “must haves” for this role:
1. Educated to master’s level in a subject relevant to the post or significant equivalent experience.
2. ITIL Software Asset Management certificate qualified or the equivalent level of knowledge
3. Demonstrable leadership and management skills
4. Proven experience in ITIL service management and the ability to drive continuous improvement
