Your role as Team Leader
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and customer focused Team Leader to join our Catering Team. You will be responsible for the operation, organisation and supervision of a dining room within a student Halls of Residence.
Main duties for this core position within the catering team will include preparing the dining room and servery area for service, organising Formal Dinners and other events and all aspects of training, motivating and supervising staff including preparing rota's and using the departments time and attendance system. You will also liaise with suppliers and other internal departments and will ensure excellent service is provided to our customers at all times.
Candidates should have supervisory experience gained within a similar environment, proven planning, administration and organisational skills and have experience of stock control.

This is a permanent, part time post. Hours of work are 35 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 to be arranged between 7.00am and 10.00pm for 52 weeks of the year including regular weekends. Flexibility to work a range of shifts will be required.
