Nursing Service is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (5D Telemetry) to join our team!

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) demonstrates leadership, experience, and creative approaches in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others.

The ANM provides and directs care for patients generally ranging in age from 17 through the geriatric years, taking into consideration diagnoses and physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural needs.

The ANM is responsible for managing registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants and medical support assistants that fall under his/her/their purview; additional responsibilities of the ANM include, but are not limited to, Acting as Nurse Manager in the absent of the Nurse Manager, timely submittal of staff proficiencies and performance appraisals, post staff schedules according to rules and regulations, employee leave management, staffing coverage support, and other responsibilities as assigned.

The ANM assists in the coordination of patient admissions, discharges and transfers within or out of the facility in coordination with the NOD.

Role within the Project

• The senior project manager expected to be the project lead and SPOC for the client.
• Responsible for the overall delivery of the project and will be the ‘Go to’ person for all the queries and information.
• Able to be set up the project, all project management systems, lead the client meetings and handle a team of project managers/ assistant project managers/ health & safety manager/ billing & QS manager/ scheduler/ document controller under him.
• Should be able to drive the project through all stages including set up and project brief, design, tendering & procurement, construction, handover & closeout.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the project meetings & handle all client communication (verbal and written)
• Set up initial systems, governance, reporting & communication protocol, set up project controls such as risk management, change management, quality & HSSE
• Be responsible for overall delivery
• Drive output from the project team, lead a project team of 10+ members
• Be able to lead and deliver other aspects of aspects of commission management such as Risk management, CEP, leading bid proposals and presentations

Reporting

• Depending upon context, a  Senior project manager is likely to report to a Area Manager or Associate Director.

Role within the project:

• To perform the role of the Commission Manager, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex commissions.
• \To act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met through the delivery of a value-added cost management service.

 Responsibilities:

Service Delivery

• Handle commissions of varying sizes, depending upon the complexity of the project
• Conducting feasibility studies and writing procurement reports
• Applying Value Management techniques at the outset of a project and where appropriate involving Turner & Townsend’s specialist Value Management team
• Managing estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan
•  Managing the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectively
• Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively

Finance

• Ensure the FMS is updated with accurate fee/cost forecasts, job open/closed, etc in order to provide an accurate monthly WIP
• Utilising TIC sheets in order to keep track of the ongoing margin levels and monthly fee/resource forecasts for each commission Ensure invoices are raised in a timely manner

Business Development

•  Work with the AD/Director  for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients
• Identifying and acting upon cross-selling opportunities
• Working with Associate Directors and Directors to write bids for new work
• Attending bid presentations with  Associate Directors and Directors

Human Resources

• Undertake performance reviews, set their annual objectives in line with your own objective, address their L&D needs, chart their career goal plans
• Take administrative responsibility of the team like signing off their timesheets, expenses
• Maintain an optimum level of resource utilisation and work with AD/Director for the hiring of resources
