We're looking for a Consents Manager to join our property team.

In this role, you'll primarily support the delivery of our refit projects in our food stores and funeral homes by making sure we have the necessary landlords' and neighbours' consent in place. We'll look to you to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external partners on anything from asset renewal works to licenses, terms and conditions and associated costs. You'll produce weekly reports to track progress and make sure the relevant teams are aware of any requirements to minimise risk to the business. It's a big job, but one in which you'll gain excellent exposure across the business and the chance to build a rewarding career with a business that puts people at the heart of its strategy.

What you'll do

* Review the terms of the lease on a property and identify whether landlords or neighbours consent is required
* If consent is required, pull together request packs and write to the landlords to get their consent, chasing up on this where required
* Assisting the construction team in establishing repair responsibilities and in obtaining any required Landlords and neighbours consent for planned and unplanned asset renewal works
* Work with the in-house legal team to support with licenses and renegotiation of terms and work with the finance team on the associated costs
* Work from a tracker and produce weekly reports to minimise risk

The Head of Information Governance (Information Rights and Records Managementwill:

· Establish and maintain the trust as a leading provider for Information Rights And Records Management.



· Develop and deliver training and guidance specific to the context of the trust accounting for the new requirements and structures under the Health and Social Care Act 2012.



· Outline, in conjunction with colleagues, the requirements of assurance and risk management on information governance and to ensure that particular stakeholder demands are met.



· Support the development of a community of practice between stakeholder leadership and staff to ensure they are able to evaluate assurance and requirements across the information governance agenda (information asset owner audit returns)



· Develop a systematic approach to information governance with clear systems of prioritisation, change management and control.



· Ensure stakeholder understand the standards required for information governance and risk management and their implementation in standard working practice.



· The co-ordination and leadership of an information governance assurance model, ensuring that where services are provided by a third party that an assurance model is in place and is supported by contractual (or equivalent) terms.



· Deliver the expected standard of investigation and action on information incidents or potential breaches of the data protection act or confidentiality, in line with the relevant organisation’s controls.



· Deliver operational support and assistance on site with stakeholder and engagement in routine business and development, to support the appropriate, proportionate and timely consideration of information governance issues in strategic and operational decisions.

· Where required to act as Privacy Officer, ensuring that the appropriate requirements of the registration authority service are outlined.

· Manage and support the delivery of information asset register.



· Support Information Asset Owners and SIRO in the management of Risk, through the delivery of information risk register and associated action plans. Monitor actions delivered by key providers and escalate as necessary.



Support the nominated Information Security Officer(s) in delivering the information security assurance programme. Provide updates on key risks and priorities arising from ICT environment and changing requirements.



· Provide advice on guidance on changes to be considered to improve patient outcomes and business efficiency, through process review and technology.



· Lead on information incident management and investigation, managing ICO complaints and support functions in managing incidents from providers.

Group HSE Manager - Responsibilities

• Manage all health and safety related issues across 4 manufacturing facilities
• Ensure legal compliance for health and safety by conducting regular audits and inspections
• Lead training with new and existing members of staff whilst identifying and assisting in any staff development opportunities, including the maintenance of training records and development of training plans
• Effective internal communication in all health and safety issues, keeping site managers and production leaders aware in a prompt and timely manner

Group HSE Manager - Education & Experience Requirements

• Ideally hold NEBOSH Diploma or similar qualification

• Previous experience of working with fast-paced, process-based general / industrial manufacturing environments
• Proven experience in driving change and improvements, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation

Support Management: Assist the Registered Care Manager with the day-to-day management and coordination of the branch to ensure it operates efficiently, profitably, and delivers the highest standard of domiciliary care.
Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, produce reports, and investigate complaints from service users and employees.
Recruitment and Staffing: Maintain and grow the team by actively recruiting new care staff, guiding them through the recruitment process, and producing weekly staffing rotas.
Business Development: Actively seek new business opportunities and support the commercial growth of the branch.
Operational Compliance: Stay informed about up-to-date operational issues and methods. Ensure compliance with health and safety, emergency regulations, and operational policies.
Emergency Duties: Undertake out-of-office duties as necessary, including providing emergency hands-on care, undertaking on-call duties, attending social events when required, and offering emergency telephone assistance to care staff.
Liaison and Coordination: Effectively liaise with other departments, employees, key stakeholders such as commissioners and customers, and the public at large.
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as requested.




What We Are Looking For:


Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity in the domiciliary care sector is essential.
NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care required. Level 5 in Health and Social Care is desirable or working towards.
Proven ability to effectively lead, delegate, and mentor staff.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, empathetic nature.
High level of organisational skills with the ability to produce staffing rotas and manage multiple responsibilities.
Ability to work flexibly, including extended hours where necessary, and provide hands-on care during staff shortages.
A friendly, supportive demeanour with a genuine passion for assisting those in need.
Willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and support your colleagues.
A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are required.
Hold or willing to obtain work related car insurance.

What we offer

The Manchester Move Team Leader will manage and coach a team who work with rehousing applicants and ensure that they deliver a high quality and customer focussed service. The role holder will ensure consistency and timeliness in the prioritisation of housing applications and deal with a high volume of Councillor/MP and customer enquiries. The post holder will be comfortable in working with applicants in a variety of settings.

The post holder will become an expert in their field and be able to offer advice to other teams across the Council and Registered Provider Partners to ensure a consistency of approach of Manchester City Council’s housing allocations policy. They will contribute to a wide range of housing need agendas and be able to use creative thinking to resolve problems as they arise.
The post holder will be working with colleagues to manage applicant expectations around access to social housing across housing services and homelessness services and will need to understand the wider housing environment to in which the services operates.
