Façade Manager

A Tier 1 contractor is hiring for a Façade Manager for a 8 month duration on a new build residential project based in Orpington. Pay ranges from £280-320cis.

About the role of Façade Manager:

The role will be managing the façade package, working alongside an on-site Façade Lead. The Façade consists of a SFS, brickwork, fire stopping, scaffold, windows, roofing, balconies etc so previous experience is needed. The project is worth circa £80m.

Responsibilities for the Façade Manager:

• Strong people management skills, experience in leading large teams, including solid technical knowledge of short-term programming, construction methodology.
• Experience managing all phases of facade packages, including health and safety, quality, and costs
• Knowledge of facade design, detailing, and structural design standards, as well as experience designing facades for different types of projects
• Understanding of facade materials, manufacturing methods, installation, and testing
• Ability to communicate effectively with architects, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders, and to present design concepts clearly
• Working with other professionals, such as engineers and architects, to achieve project objectives
• Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites. Making sure all health & safety protocols are in place.
• Manage risks, with any issues that arise are solved promptly and efficiently.

Description:

We are looking for a motivated and outgoing individual to join the Private Office team in the Wales Office as Diary Manager and Assistant Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Wales.

You will work at the heart of the Private Office and be responsible for effectively managing the Secretary of State’s diary. Liaising closely with the Secretary of State, Private Secretaries, Special Advisers and Officials, you will ensure Ministerial priorities are carefully planned and contribute to their successful delivery.

As a small Department the post holder will have unparalleled access to Ministers and work on issues that cut across Whitehall, Number 10, and the Welsh Government. The Cancer Division is a large division with a workforce of approximately 1300 WTE and annual turnover of £240M. The Division delivers world class cancer care to patients from across the country and spans multiple sites and departments across the Trust campus. • To manage administrative and support teams within the service.
• Deliver appraisal and mandatory training requirements for all staff within these teams
• Lead the directorate performance management systems ensuring that Trust and NHSE/I standards are understood and adhered to and that performance reports are produced to enable divisional compliance
• Support the governance arrangements within the directorate including audit, complaints, incidents, risk and health and safety.
• To be responsible to the Assistant Operations Manager for financial performance relating to delegated budgets and operational performance of the service /directorate
• Represent the directorate leadership team as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Full membership at the Chartered or Fellow level of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS or FRICS).

• Strong background in property valuation, compliant with RICS Valuation Standards and best practices.
• Proven success in delivering high-value, complex property development projects on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, emphasising long-term value creation.
• Outstanding leadership skills, capable of motivating, mentoring, and empowering a high-performing team.
• Superior communication, negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills at senior levels.
• Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Comprehensive knowledge of property law, development regulations, financial best practices, and risk management principles.
• Experience in a Local Authority setting, with a solid understanding of public sector priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including diplomacy, effective negotiation skills, and active involvement at all levels of the process.
• The ability to analyse property market trends and identify opportunities for strategic recommendations.
• Proven track record in facilitating, negotiating, and managing joint venture partnerships to achieve optimal outcomes aligned with the organisation's strategic goals.
