Develop a clear understanding of all aspects of service delivery and ensure that the business agenda promotes service delivery and improved care for patients. Have responsibility for co-ordinating the strategic planning processes for the Directorate, incorporating all aspects of the business and service delivery agenda. Directing and ensuring the delivery of a number of disparate work streams across clinical teams, in conjunction with the appropriate Service Manager or Professional Lead. Provide formal presentations, on complex financial and service proposals, to Trust wide and Directorate management boards. Manage the Directorates central budget and ensure proactive steps are taken to reduce overall expenditure. Identify and manage procurement opportunities to reduce overall costs of the service, increase productivity and efficiencies and liaise with the corporate procurement process. Provide leadership and management of specific Trust wide programmes of work aimed at delivering a co-ordinated approach to managing resources and minimising risk. Direct and advise the Directorate Senior Management team on processes and systems to manage and minimise the Trusts exposure to financial risk. Line management responsibilities for key staff in the business and Performance Team and the Directorate EA/PA Team. Lead the Directorate response to procurement opportunities and actively look for new opportunities for the expansion of the business of the Directorate. Lead on a range of service improvement projects across the Directorate and develop policies that support implementation of improved operational processes and systems. Lead on the design and development of programmes to support the delivery of Oxleas priorities, Directorate priorities, NHS targets and other service priorities. Co-ordinate identified work streams through the use of skilled facilitation and project management, to deliver the Trusts and the Directorates service priorities. Provide support and training to managers and front-line staff in the use of effective service improvement techniques and evidence-based approaches to managing change. Lead development of and testing of new ideas and approaches that can support the Directorate deliver improvements. Overall responsibility for the financial management of the Directorate, putting corrective measures in place or identifying, developing and negotiating new income flows where necessary. Manage and maintain financial systems which will enable the Directorates services meet their financial targets. Take appropriate action to ensure that all budgets are properly managed by delegated budget holders. Manage the functions of the Business Office team and oversee the delivery of accurate and timely financial information to support the budgetary and business planning process. Take lead responsibility for the co-ordination of the Directorates financial reporting to external bodies such as SEL and Local Authorities. Leadership Lead on the development of an overall financial management strategy to address key areas of financial risk for the Directorate, working with the Service Director, Clinical Director, Associate Directors, Service Managers and the assigned directorate Senior Finance Manager to ensure that services are delivered within the budget allocation and meet Trust financial cost improvement targets. Lead on the development of detailed plans to deliver CIPs targets and cost pressures and identify potential areas for efficiency and improvements. Lead on the development of a financial reporting process that dovetails with the service performance and clinical information reporting systems to ensure a comprehensive strategic overview is provided to the management team. Take a leadership role in the development of business cases, both to secure new funding sources in order to deliver services, but also in response to tender applications. Lead on complex change management programmes within the Directorate, working across service areas, with clinical teams and managers to improve delivery of services and outcomes for service users. Collaborate with corporate colleagues to develop and improve the use of new technologies to support and increase the productivity of service delivery and procure new services or supplies and ensure appropriate contract monitoring arrangements. About the role of Bid Manager

As Bid Manager, you will be working with a team of Planners, Contract Managers, creative designers and Project Managers on tenders which will need to be turned around within a tight deadline. These tenders will range from £5M-£30M typically and all within the Cat A and Cat B commercial fit out sector.

The role will involve presenting to large groups of people, being able to challenge Senior internal teams in a productive manner with creative ideas. The company want someone who is confident in giving their opinion/input and making good decisions as you will be the lead for the bids who have a high success rate in work winning. The win rate is currently 1 in 2.5. The business are looking to exceed this years £250m turnover, with a target of £300m for next year, so it is very important for the successful candidate to be motivated, and have a heads down attitude, to fit alongside the existing, growing team.

You will schedule the whole bid, drive strategy, undertake workshops with the subcontractors, put the "message" of the bid together and prep the team for client interview.

The role

We’re looking for a personable and organised Community & Operations Manager in our newly opened co-living community, The Palm
House, in Harrow, North West London (only 15 minutes from London Euston). You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational

● To deliver all aspects of the Property Management Schedule (PMS), ensuring that all objectives are met.

● To ensure that the buildings are properly resourced and serviced at all times, with any absences catered for in a cost
effective manner.

● To carry out monthly compliance inspections ensuring KPIs are achieved.

● To fully support the onsite team members, ensuring they are properly briefed with operational information.

● To ensure works and all services are delivered against budget, managing purchase orders, invoices, contracts and any
associated financial administration.

● Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly client reporting on lettings performance and operational budget management.




Resident Engagement:

● To act as the face for the development, supporting the team in engaging with residents to ensure that the highest levels of
customer care and service are maintained at all times.

● To implement and fully support an engagement strategy that includes resident communication and events as well as feedback and
satisfaction levels.




Health and Safety:

● To ensure Health and Safety policies and procedures are being properly implemented and a safe environment is provided for
residents and staff and keep systems up to date.

● To help oversee the delivery of all annual testing and training for our people to ensure total compliance, maintaining robust
records.




People Management:

The ideal candidate will have:

● At least 3 years’ experience within the property management arena, preferably residential property.

Coordinate and manage IG operations in support of research, keeping the Head of IG, the Director for Research, and the Chief Operating Officer for INSIGHT apprised of outcomes and escalating issues as appropriate. Provide expert and specialist IG advice and expertise on health research and related data access initiatives, developing high-quality, user-friendly and accurate guidance in a range of formats. Provide expertise and advice on research management and proposals (grant applications), including research ethics and data sharing/licensing and/or service agreements involving personal data, liaising with the Head of IG and Moorfields General Counsel where appropriate. Manage information asset accession and information security reviews relating to research proposals, including Information risk assessments, data protection impact assessments for new and existing research systems/processes/projects involving processing of data, ensuring that proposals are compliant and in the required format for approval. Ensure research related policies, procedures and guidelines are compliant with data protection legislation and are implemented effectively and efficiently across the research function. Assess and report on the discharge of procedures and processes to identify gaps in current practice, and where required make recommendations. Develop and provide tailored IG training and guidance for research colleagues. Ensure the Trust is compliant with legislative requirement for data sharing or licensing. Provide input to the Trusts IG and corporate risk registers and reporting requirements. Manage the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) activity, including the collation and provision of evidence, and coordination of returns. Assist with DPA requests relating to research (including requests that overlap between the DPA and the FoIA) and respond to DPA complaints where necessary. To assist the Head of IG with IG Departmental work planning. This includes planning and coordinating specialist project advice and technical support, planning and coordinating specialist advice and guidance. There is an expectation that the postholder may be responsible for contractors/consultants hired to undertake a discrete piece of service work, and/or agency temporary staff. Monitor and support internal and management audit of research processes to identify IG gaps or weaknesses in current practices or systems. Ensure all recommendations are implemented to deliver an improvement in the research function delivery. Provide leadership for, and the IG element of research governance groups, ensuring terms of references are up to date and aligned with other governance structures at the Trust Manage, support and develop the Information Compliance Officer. Attend external Information Governance and Research Forums to develop strong and productive relationships with Information Governance leads in other NHS organisations and with wider stakeholders and to help influence the national policy agenda on Information Governance.

Your new role

As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will report to the Head of Commercial Finance and work alongside a broader commercial finance team.
