Capita Fire & Rescue (CFR) Fire Station Managers contribute to the protection of people, assets and maintaining the military output as well making communities we operate in safer and act as a Subject Matter Expert locally for the Head Of Establishment in matters pertaining to Fire Prevention, Protection and Response. What you will do:
• Deliver and support implementation of CFR Operations strategic objectives.
• Manage and supervise the delivery of the CFR Operations (Response, Prevent and Protect) service delivery plan.
• Effectively manage Fire Safety/Response resources and assets.
• Deliver operational outputs to meet CFR Operational Standards.
• Monitoring, managing, and reporting of compliance and conformance of service and personnel performance.
• Deliver and implement, special projects and continuous improvement.
• Directly manage nominated Fire Station/Fire Safety personnel and outputs.
You and your experience:
• Experience of operating in the role of Watch Manager as a minimum, in a Fire and Rescue Service.
• Evidence of appropriate operational and Incident Command experience.
• A sound understanding of the Incident Command Systems (ICS), Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Principles (JESIP).
• Evidence, knowledge and understanding of current operational procedures.
• Strong understanding of Fire Safety and Response Management Systems.
• Evidence of good knowledge of fire and community safety issues.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
