As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Enterprise Risk in providing oversight of risks that impact the business. As part of the Corporate Risk team, you will work closely with senior managers across IT, Finance, Commercial, HR, Internal Audit, and Line 2 functions to manage and mitigate key risks.

What you'll be doing

• Support the Head of Function on functional engagement from a Line 2 risk perspective to ensure the risk management policy is properly embedded
• Review and challenge the effectiveness of governance mechanisms deployed by the relevant functions
• Ensure risk appetite and tolerance are appropriately monitored within each relevant function
• Supporting the Head of Function in developing and leading the Risk Management Framework internally
• Lead on the engagement with any external suppliers to the Line 2 functions
• Provide leadership, support and training to their direct reports, and to Line 1

What we're looking for

• Proven experience within the financial services sector is essential
• Knowledge of one of the shared service disciplines - finance, IT, 3rd party management
• Conversant with best practice enterprise risk management processes and frameworks

• Whilst on shift you will be Duty Manager for the hotel

• Manage late arrivals, guest enquiries and manage book outs where applicable

• Ensure that we create memorable experiences for our guests

• Full awareness of current daily status of Hotel
• Assist with room, One Spa, and One Square restaurant bookings as well as Gift voucher requests and maintain third party extranet platforms.
• Make sure new reservations are set up correctly and cancellations are actioned accordingly
• Maintain the hotel generic email inboxes
• Assist with revenue management tasks such as building rates and packages in Opera PMS
• Ensure all billing instructions are correct and actioned
• Follow Health and Safety procedures; point of contact for emergency situations
• Ensure all internal and external phones calls are responded to and followed up on
• Take In Room Dining orders and liaise with F&B accordingly
• Assist with Concierge requests and ensure public areas are well maintained and looked after
• Run the Night Audit and prepare the End of Day Pack

Requirements:

We are looking for someone who is energetic and self-motivated with a "can do" attitude and who is ready to take the next step on your career path. Ideally you will have at least two years of experience within the Front Office department within a 5 star environment, with supervisory experience preferred.

Our expectations of you will be that you are able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team and have a strong desire to improve on your skills and knowledge as well as:

• High school diploma required, additional hospitality training preferred.
• Extensive Knowledge of Internet/MS Office applications and related IT preferred.

Join us as a Fiduciary Diligence Manager

• In this key role, you’ll support, deliver and execute upon the Depositary performance monitoring and oversight programme

• You’ll help set and deliver the strategy for Depositary oversight utilising both internal and external insights such as industry and regulatory developments, client feedback, custodian, transfer agent or fund administrator feedback and competitor information

What you'll do

As a Fiduciary Diligence Manager, you’ll support and undertake the delivery of high quality and risk based due diligence and ongoing monitoring programme of fund managers, fund accountants, transfer agents and custodians including ongoing performance management, service level monitoring and relationship management for all Depositary jurisdictions. You’ll support the implementation and execution of overall risk based Depositary service monitoring and oversight programme in support of the business strategy.

You’ll also provide team support and guidance and undertake delivery of jurisdictional business fiduciary oversight and assurance program for all fund managers, their delegates and custodians in line with regulatory requirements. You’ll collaborate, manage and be a point of escalation both internally and externally, for all custody, fund accountant, transfer agent and client oversight related issues, ensuring the service levels of all parties are set and driven to high standards in a changing environment.

You’ll also be:

• Making sure the clients' and custodians performance is monitored within the agreed metrics, ensuring all risks are called out and are visible to the senior management team, and any losses are addressed and remediated

• Supporting engagement with the legal team in order to input and direct content of relevant legal agreements on an ongoing to represent business and fiduciary requirements

• Providing comprehensive and value-add performance analytics and reporting of fund managers, their delegates and custodians across all Depositary jurisdictions

• Identifying areas of continuous monitoring to enhance the existing External Monitoring and Custody oversight functions, utilising technology solutions as appropriate

• Producing, analysing and distributing comprehensive and accurate management information

• Supporting the operation and management of the team to ensure they have a full understanding of what is required for oversight and monitoring activities

The skills you'll need

To thrive in this role, you’ll need experience of regulatory and operational risk identification, assurance testing, independent oversight utilising audit and risk management methodologies

You’ll also bring a strong understanding of custody, depositary and fund administration and transfer agency business and relevant regulations.

You’ll also need:

• Proven ability to provide good reliable and robust management information

• The ability to manage various stakeholders, using excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills

What you'll do

You’ll play a key role in delivering initiatives that support the effective application of the TPRM framework, with an opportunity to improve the understanding and effective management of third party risk across the bank.

We’ll look to you to support the business in managing third party risk, making sure mechanisms are in place to identify, report, manage, and mitigate risk within a defined risk appetite, working in conjunction with the second line of defence.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

• Undertaking quality assurance testing on key TPRM and governance processes, identifying weaknesses and trends and driving activity to improve process design and capability
• Developing processes and procedures to support users in complying with the EO standard
• Building and maintaining trusted working partnerships with key stakeholders across the bank to align and create synergies between inter-related frameworks and non-financial risks
• Supporting the interpretation of the latest regulatory requirements and changes, managing updates to the TPRM framework to ensure our ongoing compliance to the outsourcing regulatory requirements
• Reviewing and maintaining of the EO risk standard and supporting guidance
• Providing oversight of the development and testing of robust third party exit and contingency plans for our most critical suppliers

The skills you'll need

To be successful in this role, you’ll demonstrate knowledge of third party risk and bring experience of working in a first or second line of defence risk role.

You’ll also bring:
