Your new role
You will help to take ownership of, and deliver a number of critical projects and programmes of works which have been planned to take place across the next 12 months. These programmes have been identified as a result of a recent FRA programme, and involve a variety of works to include compartmentation, fire alarms, sprinklers, lighting, front doors and other fire specific schemes. You will join an asset management team as the expert in fire safety within residential property and construction, and as such part of your role will include offering advice on the delivery of other schemes.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, it is critical that you have experience within both fire safety / fire compliance and construction - in order to support this, you may have a relevant level 3 qualification, NEBOSH or chartered membership within the fire safety expertise.

- Lead & coach the team on shift to ensure all areas of responsibility are met by the Team 
- Escalating issues to the Activities & Pool Team Manager when required 
- Induct & support new starters through 90-day induction, and completion of core departmental training 
- Delivers a hands-on approach to pool duties and greeting our guests
- Work with the Team to help keep our swimming pool area clean & safe - Always promoting Health & Safety first! 
- All of our Shift Leaders carryout the same day to day duties as our Team Members, stepping up as a Shift Leader and deputising in the absence of the Activities & Pool Team Manager.

Pay Rates: 16 to 17 from £7.50 / 18+ from £9.97 up to £11.42 per hour depending on age,

Experience and Qualifications

- An NPLQ qualification, preferred qualification SPTO & NPLQ TA
- Previous experience working as a pool shift leader within a leisure centre, fitness centre or similar environment.

We are seeking a Assistant Manager for Accommodation to join our team at our Homeless Service. Chi Winder is Coastline's purpose-built crisis accommodation, providing a community day centre and 18 self-contained bedrooms for homeless and vulnerable individuals across Cornwall.

The successful candidate will provide inspirational leadership to colleagues delivering intensive housing management services. They will be responsible for ensuring that high-quality services and accommodation are provided to all our customers, while effectively managing Coastline's supported housing services to meet our obligations as a landlord.

You will understand the role of homeless services and have experience of working with individuals with a range of complex support needs, with proven housing experience or facilities management experience. You will also be able to demonstrate effective leadership, and ensure your team are equipped with the skills and knowledge to undertake their roles effectively.

A full driving licence and a satisfactory enhanced DBS check are essential for this role.
