**Procurement Manager**

**Main Purpose of Job:**

The role covers the whole spectrum of procurement and supplier management, including

responsibility for developing and managing the purchase process, management of supplier

agreements, tracking metrics to reduce expenses, negotiating deals, managing suppliers, and team.

Ensure clear requirements, mitigate risks, and collaborate with relevant departments and directors.

**Key Responsibilities:**

 Responsible for demand and shortfall planning, and communications.

 Establish procurement processes.

 Responsible for systems maintenance and reporting.

 Delivery of procurement risk mitigation plans and opportunity management.

 Provide support when the company moves from an MRP to an ERP system.

 Review and process purchase orders for suppliers in relation to Works Orders (WO) (suppliers &

sub-contractors).

 Builds and maintains relationships with suppliers. Securing good procurement deals.

 Negotiate pricing agreements with suppliers, leverage demand profiles and act as a line of

defence against margin erosion.

 Responsible for supply chain management. Creation and negotiation of supplier contracts.

 Evaluates (and regularly appraise) suppliers based on quality, timeliness, and price.

 Schedules deliveries and ensures OTDIF (on time delivery in full).

 Coordinates with fellow managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs.

 Ensuring stock accuracy on ERP, involvement in stock cycle counts.

 Decrease stock on shelf using JIT tools.

 Provide weekly / monthly statistics and reporting with team, directors.

 Work in accordance with the quality system and processes of the company.

 Coordinates with fellow team members, managers, and directors.

 Departmental and individual Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Goals and Objectives (G&O)

driven **.**

**Skills and Qualifications/experience:**

 Degree or similar qualification beneficial.

 Fully qualified to level 6 Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, or 10+ years

procurement experience

 ERP and Microsoft experience.

 Relevant experience gained in a similar industry and role.

 Ability to develop and evaluate procurement and supply chain reports from IFS / SAP and

Microsoft applications.

 Be organised and able to gather information from key sources to assist with problem solving.

 Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work.

 Be able to work effectively and efficiently to meet target deadlines.

 Good verbal and written communication skills, good Maths and English skills.

 Great customer service skills.

Creative Support is a national not-for-profit provider of community services for adults with a variety of social care needs. We are offering the exciting new role of Supporting Living Manager for our vibrant supported living service, commissioned by Worcestershire County Council. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Supported Living Manager to work in our modern service near the centre of the town of Bromsgrove. The service is a beautiful scheme of multiple apartments, with an additional spacious hub for which will serve as your office, a meeting space for service users, a place to host activities, workshops and exciting fund raising initiatives!

The service is delivered jointly between Creative Support and Bromford Housing and benefits from an onsite housing enabler, which allows us to offer a collaborative approach to meet service users housing and social care needs.

As Supported Living Manager you will be based on site and oversee the daily operation of the service, ensuring a high standard of housing and support at all times. The service will provide support to tenants with a learning disability and/or autism, some of whom may have other needs including physical disabilities and mental health needs. Our focus is on providing person-centred, outcome focused support which enables people to lead fulfilling and valued lives, maintain their tenancies, participate in the local community, develop independent living skills and achieve their personal goals and desired outcomes. You will ensure that the service maximises positive outcomes and achieves the highest standards of service delivery, contract and CQC compliance. You will be responsible for all aspects of operational management, including:

• Leading, managing and supervising a team of staff
• Ensuring that caring and respectful personalised support is provided at all times
• Achieving positive outcomes for all service users
• Managing the accommodation and facilities effectively and ensuring that they are maintained to a high standard
• Ensuring that the service is provided in accordance with the individual’s support plans, the service specification and CQC requirements
• Maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders

As the Supported Living Manager you will be expected to fully understand the needs of all service users and to act as a professional role model, coaching and mentoring staff. A high level of motivation and personal commitment is required along with demonstrable skills and experience in assessing needs and planning support, deploying and supervising staff and working effectively with stakeholders.

You will ensure that staff encourage and support people to express their aspirations, make choices, develop skills and actively participate in planning the support they need. To achieve this you will also be expected to work professionally alongside the multi-disciplinary team and communicate positively with families, carers and friends. A relevant degree or vocational qualification in health or social care is required (such as diploma 3/4/5). 2 x Freelance Design Managers to work on multiple schemes across the country, both will be based at the Head Office.
The Design Managers will work remotely from the main office and assist in resolving a back-log of design issues for all of their current live MOJ Schemes.
