What you will be doing

The Hold Point Manager plays a crucial role in coordinating with the commissioning and Pre-Operations teams, ensuring that hold points are released efficiently and meet the required quality standards to enable construction progress. With this, your responsibilities include:


- Drive the timely delivery of defined hold points, ensuring they meet high-quality standards.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across the business to secure necessary evidence, influencing senior-level stakeholders and peers outside direct authority.
- Assess and challenge evidence across various topics, providing constructive feedback on its adequacy.
- Balance business demands with workload to optimise hold point releases, aligning with programme timelines.
- Mentor and coach project teams on implementing effective hold point management to support commissioning activities and the transition into operations at HPC.
- Present and justify evidence to the Hold Point Panel, Delivery Team, and Regulators as needed, ensuring a clear and robust case for hold point release.


Who you are

To be successful in this role, we’re looking for you to have experience successfully delivering results within a large-scale project and a proven ability to manage delivery effectively in a matrixed organisational structure. What you’ll be doing
You will provide clear leadership and coordination for all activities involved in the full life cycle delivery of assigned major contracts. What you will be doing

You'll collaborate with the Senior Construction Logistics Manager and Senior Logistics Operations Manager to develop a feasible logistics plan that addresses capacity constraints. Working with the Head of Logistics, you'll recommend a long-term logistics baseline and manage the Logistics Capacity leads to ensure accurate data inputs into the plan. You'll also partner with functional data owners to maintain data accuracy and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party logistics partners. By fostering communication within the team, you'll optimise planning activities and support KPI reporting on logistics planning capability. Additional responsibilities include:


- Define the Logistics capacity baseline plan for delivering services in alignment with the Project plan.

What you will be doing

You will lead teams in maintaining accurate logistics reporting and ensure performance standards and KPIs are met. Responsible for implementing logistics and project controls techniques, you’ll drive the development of systems and reports to support project objectives. The Opportunity

The Senior Construction Logistics Manager, reporting directly to the Head of Logistics, plays a critical role in overseeing the on-site logistics processes for the storage and movement of materials. This includes managing the delivery of services through a 3PL partner to ensure materials are delivered where and when they are needed. The Senior Manager is accountable for prioritising cross-project logistics demand, handling disruptions, and addressing escalations related to construction logistics performance. They will also manage stakeholder expectations across various functions, including Operations Logistics.

In this leadership position, the Senior Construction Logistics Manager will guide and develop the Construction Logistics team, taking direct line management responsibility for a team that is currently being designed.
