Are you a qualified engineer in a project manager role? Do you have extensive onsite construction experience? And looking to use your expertise and technical experience to coordinate the erection phase of a complex project?
The Opportunity
Your role will be to oversee and manage the execution of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning tasks, ensuring alignment with the Project schedule. You will be responsible for delivering on time, within budget, and to the required safety and quality standards to fulfil the Project’s objectives.

What you’ll be doing
You will be responsible for defining the work scope and managing interfaces within the assigned contract or work package. Develop and implement strategies and plans in line with the Programme Execution Plan (PEP) to ensure smooth execution. Effective communication with all stakeholders will be essential to maintain alignment across the project.
Additionally, you will oversee the safe, timely, and budget-compliant delivery of contract activities, regularly tracking progress and reporting updates. Proactively anticipate and resolve any issues, escalating risks to the Senior Project Manager when necessary. This role also involves contract administration, managing variations, claims, and technical queries, as well as overseeing contract changes, ensuring clear scope definition, business justification.
Who you are
You will have a degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, with a focus on either mechanical or electrical installation disciplines. With strong project management and organisational skills, developed through hands-on experience, and supported by a recognised qualification. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effectively presenting information and interacting with senior management.
Exceptional people management skills, capable of building strong relationships, influencing stakeholders, and working collaboratively in complex internal and external multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrate a logical thought process, backed by excellent analytical skills. Extensive on-site construction experience.
Additionally, you will have experience and knowledge of onsite health & safety and its purpose, as well as experience and familiarity with CDM Regulations. A proven track record of managing projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from concept to handover, is essential.
