we’re looking for a senior project manager to join us on our continuous journey of true nourishment
purpose |
as a senior project manager within the wagamama technology team, you will work on projects across all business divisions and with a variety of stakeholders. you will lead on projects that impact our guests, teams and head office employee. you will use our change delivery framework to provide effective governance to complex change initiatives and support the wider team as needed.
key accountabilities |
- lead multiple technology and business change projects across wagamama (and the wider TRG group where applicable)
- use our change delivery framework to ensure projects are governed effectively, including scope control, budget management and planning
- identify and track all project risks and issues, ensuring stakeholders are aware and mitigation plans are in place
- engage with a wider variety of stakeholders, including our restaurant teams, head office divisions, exec teams and external suppliers
- adapt the project process, methodology and communication style to the project depending on complexity, risk and stakeholders
- understand the business; spend time in our restaurants and with our teams to build relationships and identify how + why our change initiatives are important
- provide guidance and mentorship to the change delivery team and wider technology function
key skills + experience |
- an accomplished project manager with experience in managing multiple, sometimes complex projects
- excellent people management skills; able to lead, motivate and coordinate a project team
- able to produce governance documentation, including projects plans and budgets
- able to provide structure, breaking down complicated projects into clear and simple tasks
- excellent communication skills and an ability to build relationships with all levels of stakeholders
- confident in presenting project updates and creating status reports tailored to the audience
- good knowledge of business systems in a commercial environment
- experience working in similar industry, i.e with a retail, leisure or hospitality background
- understanding of project management principles, frameworks and methodologies (i.e. APM, Prince2, AgilePM)
- have a positive change mindset!
