The role
As a Programme Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary, leading our mission critical, high profile and complex programme with growth and multi profile project delivery elements.
Day-to-day, you'll use your project management skills to help aid Babcock in their Land CEMA (Cyber Electromagnetic Activity) programme.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to a large team prioritising to meet growth and delivery commitments and financial goals
- Responsible for interacting directly with both internal and external key stakeholders and ensuring their awareness and confidence
- Manage programmes in the support of delivery of large and technically complex technology contracts, for MoD and commercial customers
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Programme Manager
- Have a strong level of Project and Programme Management knowledge, plus experience and track record in bidding and delivering complex engineering and technology programmes (£75m +) from initial design through to implementation and service integration, working with complex supply chains
- Experienced in Identifying, understanding and management of programme risk
- Comfortable and confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external upwards and downwards, including leading and building a team
- ITN process experience
- Agile or Waterfall experience
Qualifications for the Programme Manager
- Holds a recognised project management qualification such as APM PMQ, ChPP or equivalent
- UK driving license
