Your responsibilities will include:

• Line managing the attendance officers in the team
• Ensuring attendance targets are met
• Assisting SLT in the management and development of attendance and punctuality policies
• Daily monitoring and follow-up of attendance and punctuality
• Participating on late desk and following up detentions to be issued for late students

Responsibilities:

• Ensure project costs don't go over budget.
• Make sure all application payments are dealt with before the due date.
• Ensuring all monthly reviews and forecasts are completed and submitted on time
• Maintaining all client relationships on all levels.
• Assist in strategy with the project manager.
• Establish and maintain the contract filling system.
• Monitoring subcontractor performance.

Duties will include:

This new service has 2 practitioner posts (this post and a Specialist Mental Health Practitioner post) and an Assistant psychologist/research Assistant and will be based within the Magistrates Court and Westminster House (team base for the Liaison and Diversion Services of which this service sits within). Referral - Help to make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the service referral protocols, signpost/refer unsuitable service users on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary. Assessment - To undertake service user centred assessments (inc. risk assessments) and create, with them a shared understanding of their needs and difficulties, using this formulation to identify the most appropriate psychological therapy. Active engagement Delivery of psychological based interventions under the supervision of the Clinical Lead (or Specialist Mental Health Practitioner in their absence). This engagement may extend to family/friends/carers of the service users where appropriate/necessary. Develop good working relationships - To effectively liaise and develop links with services with partner agencies i.e. probation, substance use services, Trust services and 3rd party services etc. Service evaluation The Nottingham/Nottinghamshire MHTR service has been identified as an evaluation site. This role will require the post holder to be actively engaged in data collection, collection of routine outcome measures and support Clinical Lead in undertaking periodic evaluations of the service. Appointed applicants will have access to robust clinical and managerial supervision and career development opportunities. The service is committed to ensuring the staff in the team are well equipped to work with the complex service users accessing the service and so training is well supported and there is a range of access to robust supervision.

Your new role

• Providing professional management accounting services, including direct support to the business planning and budget setting process
• Production of monthly management accounts
• Quarterly forecasts
• Liaising with Senior Managers and budget holders to review monthly management accounts
• Working closely with HR business partners to ensure effective control over staffing budget

What you'll need to succeed

• Ideally qualified (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)
• Experience within a similar role, producing monthly management accounts
• Business Partnering experience

About the Role


A vacancy has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Environmental Health Professional to work in our food and health & safety team (Commercial Team), or an Environmental Health graduate who wishes to complete their portfolio.



You will hold a degree or a diploma in Environmental Health or a related subject or have significant experience in environmental health food and safety regulation and be able to meet the competencies for authorised Food Officers in accordance with the Food Law Code of Practice.



Graduate applications will also be considered, and we will facilitate the completion of your portfolio.

Depending upon qualifications and experience you will:

Carry out food hygiene and food standards inspections of high and medium risk food premises, and premises requiring “approval” under product specific hygiene regulations.
Undertake a programme of formal food sampling for examination and analysis.
Investigate consumer complaints relating to food and food premises.
Investigating complaints, requests for service and RIDDOR reported Incidents.
Carrying out routine proactive and reactive occupational health and safety interventions in a wide variety of premises.


Graduates without experience will be fully trained on all areas of Environmental Health work.

Candidate Profile


You will have experience of inspecting a wide range of premises and of dealing with the public, businesses, and food safety professionals.



You will be experienced and competent in preparing legal documents, conducting PACE interviews, and initiating and satisfactorily concluding appropriate enforcement action.



You will be able to demonstrate competency at the levels required for the post.



Graduates without experience will be fully trained an all areas of Environmental Health work.
