Coventry Bereavement Service work tirelessly to deliver the highest possible standards of service to all bereaved families at their time of need.
We are responsible for the provision of burial across 6 cemeteries located city wide, the management of Canley Crematorium and Gardens of Remembrance as well as various other sundry services including the provision of Public Health Funerals and post cremation memorialsation. What is the job role?Under the general direction of the Bereavement Services Manager, to be responsible for overseeing, and undertaking, the provision of day-to-day administration of all activities within statutory legislation associated with, the Crematorium and the City Cemeteries, Social Funerals, Memorial Permits requests and safety matters. To attend to enquiries at our public reception.
Provide team leadership, including performance management, sickness absence monitoring and recording and the training and development of staff.
Who are we looking for?You will need to have proven office administration experience, excellent customer service skills and past supervisory experience including carrying out employee appraisals, 1 to 1's, staff training and leading team meetings and briefings.
