The postholder will assist the Lead Pharmacist, Informatics with the development and optimisation of electronic prescribing within the Trust, in conjunction with the Head of IT Projects and the EPR team. The appointees will join 7 Specialist Trainees in delivering clinical, laboratory, diagnostic, administrative, research and teaching responsibilities. Main Responsibilities

The Ideal Candidate

Working as a Senior Data Scientist at Saga, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience;

• Previously worked in a data science role for a large data rich organisation, with a track record of independent project delivery.
• Can demonstrate strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R. SQL also necessary to leverage old code base.
• Be seen as an expert in machine learning, statistical modelling and data analysis.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms, ideally Azure.
• A curious nature, with the drive to learn and master new tech and methods.

Desirable;
