An opportunity exists for a Senior Control Systems Engineer in vertically integrated provider of energy control solutions experiencing a strong period of growth. The role has responsibility for designing control systems for power generation, protection systems and rotating machinery. Specifically, this will include genset and power station control, electrical-mechanical protection and turbine controls (gas, steam, hydro).
• Perform, and lead, complex software/hardware TSP creation, test setups/troubleshooting, engine calibration, emissions testing, testing of customer/internal hardware/software.
• Create and update BOM's, wiring diagrams, drawings, electrical schematics, test plans, training material, creation of O&M manuals for customers.
• Supervise FAT and SAT.
• Coordinate project milestones/project scope and ensures activities associated with the PLC process and department level procedures are adhered to.
• Mentor and assist level 1 and 2 engineers.
• Participate or lead projects in analyzing and sizing of third party internal/external products and definition.
• Support the commercial group in proposal creation, technical support commercial offers, and customer presentations.
• Co-author papers with other engineers’ complex or novel research assignments.
• Accountable for emissions certification support or regulatory compliance support for products and systems.

Requirements
• Degree in Engineering, Science or another technical equivalent.
• Significant previous experience in designing control systems for power generation and protection systems (genset and power station control and electrical-mechanical protection)
• Significant previous experience in designing control systems for rotating machinery (gas and steam turbines in refinery process and LNG industries, as well as hydro turbines).
• Preferably previous experience with ComAp, DeepSea, Woodward or DEIF controllers.
• Knowledge of design tools, basic use of DFSS tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Engineering quality systems (PLC, engineering change, configuration management).
• Ability to run existing standard tools (e.g. GAP, ProE, NetSim, Toolkit, Intellution, Citect, AutoCad, MatlLab, Simulink).
• Well-developed leadership skills; ability to drive results across organizational boundaries.
• Complete understanding of component and system function and testing requirements, manufacturing processes, drawings and standards.

KEY DUTIES Diagnostic Audiometry Provides pure tone audiometry and tympanometry, advising patients and referring clinicians on management plans based on results obtained. Provides test results and reports to outside agencies as appropriate. Ensures departmental audiometry protocols and procedures are adhered to. Explain complex hearing test results to patients whose first language is not English and/or an interpreter is required. Adapt assessment procedures to manage needs of most complex patients including those with learning difficulties, dementia, deaf-blind, mental health issues eg schizophrenia, development delays or multiple combinations of these problems. Routine and complex assessment of patients with tinnitus. Auditory Rehabilitation Assess the general auditory rehabilitative needs of hearing-impaired adults with respect to their audiological status, communication skills and social needs. Rehabilitation of patients with learning difficulties/dementia Formulate appropriate management strategies based on this information and appropriate treatment plan. Advise patients and significant others on above implement. Examination of patients ears and assessment of any abnormal pathology. Aural impression taking and assessment of most appropriate ear mould/thin tube according to departmental protocols Refer patient to, and liaise with, external agencies as appropriate. Ensure all adult auditory rehabilitation is appropriately documented. COMMUNICATION To ensure affectively inter departmental communication between all trust sites.
