Where you fit in

You will sit within Shell's Trading and Supply business, one of the world's largest energy trading operations in the world with key hubs in Singapore, Dubai, Houston, London, and Rotterdam. As a Senior .NET Developer, you will support the Commercial IT Enablement team within Crude and Products businesses which play a crucial commercial role in Shell. The Crude business acts as the sole conduit to global markets for all Shell equity crude, whilst Products acts as the single interface between Shell’s downstream businesses and the global refined oil market.

Our Crude & Products Software Engineering CC builds the software engineering capability required for the solutions of today and the future. We focus on creating quality, secure code; designing and building innovative products, and scalable digital solutions that enable the ambitions for our Crude and Product businesses. Our capability focuses on Native Software Engineering, Power Platform by Microsoft, Salesforce Software Engineering and Crude and Products Core Systems Software Engineering.

These business ambitions and the fast pace at which the energy mix and landscape are evolving will require strong partnership and delivery from our IDT organization. The Trading & Supply Capability Center was established within Information & Digital Engineering (IDE) to grow and mature to meet our Trading & Supply partners' needs. What’s the role

As a Software .NET Developer, we expect you to have proven experience in adhering to software engineering best practices, delivering software products/applications generating business value. They are expected to have continuous improvement mindset, driving value-based process, product/application optimization.

Furthermore, your responsibilities include the following:

• Solution consultation and development in accordance with the enterprise technology principles, methods, standards, and practices

The Internal Medicine Research Unit (IMRU) is committed to finding cures for metabolic diseases and related complications. Our goal is to build a research team of driven scientists focused on developing a deep mechanistic understanding of the metabolic pathways driving obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and renal disease. Apply scientific and technical expertise to drug discovery programs to impact the future of new drug candidate development. The aim is to recruit a scientifically and technically strong research scientist proficient in in vivo and in vitro metabolic research models, with the ultimate goal of developing effective therapies.
 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conceptualize and design experiments.

• Organize and conduct in vitro/ in vivo/ ex vivo studies independently (including preparation, data collection, interpretation, and presentation).

• Maintain awareness of scientific and technical developments in the field.

• Author manuscripts for quality publications in top-tier journals.

• Interface with an interdisciplinary team of scientists in the Internal Medicine Research Unit and engage in both target exploration and driving established projects in our portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD with a minimum of 2 years of post-doc experience.

• Expertise in cell biology and physiology with emphasis on metabolism and signaling pathways is essential.

• Experience working with GPCRs and associated pathways is a plus but not required.

The Vice President for Government Relations and Communication Engagement has responsibility for advancing Georgetown’s strategic interests – and the strategic interests of the higher education sector – at both the federal and local levels of governance.

What a typical day includes

Credit writing and structuring: Day-to-day, you will build and maintain foundational relationships with product partners, clients, other CWB business divisions, practice sound underwriting within Bank policy and guidelines, ensuring all risks are accurately identified and mitigated, and client’s needs are fulfilled!

Risk management: Ensure the safety of the Bank’s funds with detailed loan portfolio management, including strong attention to loan quality, exposure limits and security requirements. Review accounts/services on an ongoing basis acquire compensation for increase in risk, complexity or administration.

Operations & reporting: To review, analyze and approve construction draw requests and interim reports. Minimize loan and revenue loss experience through implementation of programs and procedures to identify and solution problem loans. Ensure required reports and other financial data is received and analyzed promptly in accordance with conditions of loan commitment.

Learning: Although you’ve developed a solid foundation in the real estate industry, you are always identifying trends and growing your knowledge on your next client or business area to achieve ultimate success and strong results from you and your team.

Over 3 years in a commercial banking environment with vast exposure to real estate lending with a focus on construction financing and land serving deals plus an undergraduate degree in commerce, finance or a related field.

Summary

The Senior Payment Processor is responsible for a variety of tasks associated with the processing of payments: printing and disbursement of checks. recordkeeping and contacting departments for missing information and/or discrepancies with documents submitted for payments.

Essential Functions

• Create via Workday - Supplier invoices for After the Fact Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Supplier Contracts, Ad Hoc Payments, Payments against nothing and prepaid Invoices. Will also create Credit Memos, review Match Exceptions and schedule as required Prepay Amortizations (monthly).

• Prior to creating supplier invoices - must look up the following information: Find Expense Reports and Expense Report Lines, Find Purchase Order Supplier Contracts, Purchase Orders, and receipts.

• Create weekly Settlement runs - several times a week for Expenses, Suppliers and Ad Hoc payments. Once settlement runs have been approved - print checks, make copies of check and relevant attachments for filing, mail checks and if necessary, make out envelopes for mailing, void checks and process reprints (as needed).

• Expense Reports:

  Assure travel expenses are within Travel Policies and proper documents are provided for reimbursements.

  -Audit travel and non-travel expenses associated with Pcard transactions, for fraudulent or suspicious activities. Assure Ensure payments made via the university P-card are within P-card policies.

• PCard Reporting - Reconciliation:

  Find Credit card Transaction Files Report for Errors and make the necessary corrections                                                             

  Find Credit Card Transactions

• Graduate degree in Science, Medicine, Economics or Engineering. A further certification on HE, HTA, Health Policy or market access is mandatory.

• At least 5 years experience in health policy, market access, reimbursement, health economics
• Proven experience of interacting and building relationships directly with healthcare stakeholders/decision makers at all levels
• Knowledge of the healthcare landscape and trends, including payers, and healthcare funding flows

• Strong business acumen to connect to local/Area business leaders and develop HE&R solutions to support the business.

• Strong project management skills with oversight experience in both internal and external projects are necessary. Demonstrated multitasking and time management skills and experience are essential

  Qualifications:

• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to take technical and complex information and distill it to key messages that make sense for the audience.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
