Main Responsibilities

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will have worked in a similar industry with experience of managing people and working on Highways, Infrastructure or Civils Maintenance Projects.

Other responsibilities for this role will include (not exhaustive):

• Be an integral member of the commercial team supporting the Commercial Manager, Managing Quantity Surveyor and provide leadership to the Quantity Surveyor’s
• Build a strong relationship with internal and client counterparts as well as working with members of the team to attain your full potential
• Working on commercial projects from pre contract stage through to completion ensuring contracts returns are maximised and complete forecasting across all within your works
• Engaging and managing sub-contracts including tender enquiries, award and assessment of monthly payment applications
• Support the production of monthly CVR's
• Work to produce both internal and client forecasts
• Production and substantiation through to agreement of associated Final Accounts
• Ensure all Riney and client processes are followed to minimise commercial risk
• Work with the wider team and ensure all work completed is accurately valued and followed through to cash collection

In this role you will be in liaison with stakeholders across the businesses of Riney, Tarmac and CRH

A car / car allowance is available with this role and therefore you must hold a FULL UK car driving license with no more than 6 penalty points - You must be able to travel across the region of work

Overview of the job

This is a management role within the National Probation Service (NPS).

The Senior Probation Officer supports the Head of Operational Function to provide management and a leading role within a Local Delivery Unit (LDU) or other operational unit.

Summary

The job holder will be expected to manage and lead staff within the operational area to the required standard, and will offer support and cover to other teams/functions during periods of absence.

Responsibilities, Activities & Duties

1. To contribute to academic and clinical skills teaching at post-registration and post-graduate level within the: BSc (Hons) Midwifery and MSc Midwifery (shortened), drawing on ones own area of specialism and to design teaching sessions which maximise the integration of academic theory to clinical practice. 2. To contribute to the assessment process for students including the setting, marking and moderation of work, individually or collectively as part of a team in accordance with quality assurance procedures (including PSRB standards). 3. To contribute to the design and development of innovative, inclusive, and inspiring learning materials and assessments including e-learning. 4. To act as a Personal Academic Tutor. 5. To engage as an Academic Assessor in order to collate and confirm student achievement of NMC proficiencies and programme outcomes. 6. To participate in tripartite arrangements with students and clinical supervisors to facilitate effective partnership working and student support. 7. To carry out academic administrative work and participate in relevant committees within the School and College. 8. To participate in the recruitment of students, including selection events and open days. 9. To undertake academic leadership roles as required to support delivery of the courses, such as module leadership, course leadership, admissions tutor. 10. To participate in annual staff development and review processes. 11. To actively engage in scholarship, research and professional / academic publication in ways that contribute to the University / Schools objectives and contribute to ensuring up-to-date, leading-edge teaching. 12. To participate fully in the life of the School and carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Head of School or her / his nominee. 13. Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job; participate in appropriate training activities and encourage and support staff in their development and training. 14. Take steps to ensure and enhance personal health, safety, and wellbeing and that of other staff and students. 15. Your new role
A brand-new opportunity for a Strategic Accounts Executive has become available in a Legal firm which sits within their Business Development team. As a Strategic Accounts Executive you will support the implementation and day to day management of the firm's key clients' relationships.

As part of the Business Development team, the key clients you will be supporting are at the heart of the firm's DNA to deliver an exceptional experience.

The team is responsible for outstanding business development support, helping the firm win profitable business, while protecting high-value relationships, and end-to-end project management of pitches and tenders that are central to the firm's ambitious growth plans.

I am seeking a capable and motivated Strategic Accounts Executive to help manage the programme and to provide hands-on support in Birmingham and with the occasional travel to London.
