About the Team

You will be a part of PwC’s Risk Services – Governance, Risk & Compliance (Forensics Services) and you will experience a dynamic and fast-paced working environment where we combine financial, accounting and regulatory knowledge with deep technical and industry experience to assist our clients in confronting the regulatory, legal and commercial challenges as a result of unanticipated events.

How will you value add?

You'll work as part of a team of problem solvers and other subject matter experts with extensive industry experiences. You will help our clients solve their complex business issues and be the catalyst to help shape a new governance and risk paradigm and identify areas of potential performance improvement. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Primarily work in project teams to conduct fraud and other forensic investigations (from financial and accounting perspectives);
• Support engagement team leaders and managers to work on multiple projects in different phases through financial data analysis, conduct of interviews and review of electronic data collected;

About you:

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in consulting/ advisory work, specifically in areas of forensics advisory or law enforcement work will be favourably considered;
• A good Bachelor or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, Law, Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Technology/ Systems or Information Security-related fields;

• Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and software development best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing distributed applications using Oracle Tuxedo middleware platform
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or COBOL
• Familiarity with middleware concepts, distributed computing, and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Oracle Tuxedo applications
• Knowledge of database systems and SQL
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities:

• Assist the project manager with on and off site meeting pertaining to the technical issues
• Responsible for submission of Architectural samples, shops drawing and other related documents to the consultants or authorities
• Coordinate and monitor work progress at site including periodical site inspection and attending meetings during course of construction of project
• Proven problem solving and achievements work progress according to the work schedule
• Site supervision and able to coordinate well with sub-contractors, RE and RTO

Requirements:

• Candidate must at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Min 2 year relevant experience in the related field for this position
• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance
• Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company.
