The role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll manage the delivery of engineering and technical activities, through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience.

Day-to-day, you'll assist in effective management of the customer, including liaison and relationship development with existing and new customers.

• Ensure procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities.
• Contribute to Project Safety Assessment process.
• Ensure task and project risks are communicated and managed appropriately.
• Produce, review and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design basis documentation and technical reports as assigned.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based at our Radar Road site in Leicester. This role provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Essential experience of the Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Experience in working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver activities on a range of project types.
• Demonstrable experience in covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.

Qualifications for the Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering, or equivalent experience in relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience.

Your new role

We're seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to be a vital part of our fantastic marketing team. You'll collaborate with a talented graphic designer, Marketing Executive, and report to our Marketing Manager.

• Manage and execute marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
• Analyse market trends and competitors and develop social plans based on this insight.
• Create engaging content for various marketing channels.
• Responsible for social media, planning, creating and executing plans to support business objectives.
• Monitor and report on marketing metrics such as impressions and engagement.
• Update the website as and when required to support with marketing campaigns and wider company needs.
• Work closely with the eCommerce team on projects and campaigns to support new business growth.

What you'll need to succeed

Essential

• Understanding of digital marketing concepts and performance metrics.
• Proficiency with analytical tools such as Google Analytics.
• Experience with pardot software or equivalent
• Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

The College operates across two closely located campuses, next to the University of Leicester on University Road and a smaller campus at Regent Road.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to work as part of the MIS and Exams team. This role will focus on providing an efficient and responsive examinations service for the College. The person appointed will be involved with all aspects of the examinations process including making exam entries, leading on the day-to-day administration of internal and external exam seasons, training of invigilation staff and acting as a liaison point between the college and awarding bodies.
The college runs six main examination periods each year:
• GCSE Maths and English external resits November
• Vocational (BTEC & CTEC) internal assessments December
• Vocational (BTEC &CTEC) external exams January - February
• A Level and GCSE internal assessments February
• A Level internal assessment April
• Summer external exams May – June
The successful candidate will have significant administrative experience, strong planning and organisational skills and excellent communication skills. Experience of data entry and using information systems in a working environment will be essential along with working in a college or school context being desirable.
The post holder will be expected to work additional hours during the above periods, including early starts, for which time off in lieu will be granted.
This is a permanent full-time, all year round post commencing as soon as possible.
The salary banding for this post will be 11 – 14 which ranges from £26,097 to £28,549 per annum. The actual starting salary for this post will be £26,097 but may be negotiated based on experience.
