MacIntyre Academies Trust opened its first academy, in Headington, Oxford in September 2014. Endeavour Academy is a new and exciting Academy School for children and young people with autism and associated severe Learning Difficulties aged from 8 to 19 years old.

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Assistant/Handyperson to join this new and exciting Academy and Children’s Home.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager you will be responsible for supporting in the upkeep of Endeavour Academy School and Children’s Home (Endeavour House), with specific responsibilities for general maintenance, site security and cleaning.

You will need to have awareness of health and safety and cleanliness of workplace, handling and use of hazardous materials experience (COSHH), manual handling experience and experience of carrying out general unskilled maintenance.

Previous experience of working within a school and holding an Apprenticeship, NVQ or equivalent in cleaning or any other relevant trade would also be desirable.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
AAT qualified or working towards accounting qualification
Two years accounts assistance/purchase ledger experience
Knowledge and use of ERP systems (Dynamics 365 desirable)
Excellent Excel knowledge and skills
Fluent in spoken English and adept and written skills in English

This role is based in Thame with parking, 7.30am until 4.00pm and an early 12.30pm finish on a Friday and hybrid working. Salary offered is £22 - £25kk depending on experience, 25 days holiday, pension and life assurance.

Must be available to work Monday - Friday between 7am - 8pm

In our Sales Advisers, we look for a positive mindset, people who can support their team to get things done and enjoy getting involved. Your role at Superdrug as one of our Sales Advisers will be all about serving customers where you will deliver excellent service and make sure customers don’t miss out on any of our great Star Buys. You’ll help ensure that the store is well stocked, and a high level of store presentation is maintained and will actively be involved in achieving the store targets. To support your development, you’ll also can be trained in ear and nose piercing to support our fast-growing piercing business in store.
