• To participate in the Trust and the Department’s protocols for appointments booked under the Directly Bookable system and to ensure that all referrals are available for clinic



• On a daily basis log onto the Choose and book national system and print off all the outstanding referrals, ensuring that all attached documents are searched for and uploaded to patients records.



• Distribute all referrals to the appropriate consultant or team member to triage. Ensuring that all referrals are received back within 24hrs.



• Update EPR and the E-Referral system as required when referrals are received back ensuring that patients are updated with the appropriate appointment details.



• Ensure that the E-Referral breach list is maintained on a daily basis and patients are contacted within 48hrs with an appointment date and time.



• Liaise closely with colleagues in all areas of the PAB (Patient Appointment Bureau), Clinical and administrative teams to ensure that all referrals are returned and actioned in a timely manner.

To help organise and facilitate co-design workshops with community groups and individuals with lived experience of psychosis from Bangladeshi, Black African, and Black Caribbean backgrounds. Screening and recruitment of patients diagnosed with psychosis and patients at ultra high risk pf psychosis. This will involve speaking to referrers regularly, attending clinical team meetings, visiting community mental health teams, hospital wards, as well as home based treatment teams. There will be monthly recruitment targets for all studies. The post-holder will be joining a team of research assistants to help meet these targets. Completing eligibility screening assessments and seeking informed consent from patients. Carrying out the assessments for the trials. The trial patients will be assessed on a range of measures at a number of time points for each study. You will need to arrange these interviews and administer clinical interviews, assessment tasks, and self-report questionnaires. Participants will be seen in clinic settings or at home across a large geographical area. Patients are seen in multiple NHS trusts including: Oxford Health, Northamptonshire Healthcare, Berkshire Healthcare, and Central Northwest London (Milton Keynes). Assessments will be carried out blind (i.e. you should not know which condition thepatients have been randomised to). You will need to remind staff and patients not to tell you the allocation. Your role at Superdrug as one of our Sales Advisers will be all about serving customers where you will deliver excellent service and make sure customers don’t miss out on any of our great Star Buys. You’ll help ensure that the store is well stocked, and a high level of store presentation is maintained and will actively be involved in achieving the store targets. To support your development, you’ll also can be trained in ear and nose piercing to support our fast-growing piercing business in store.

Patient administration underpins the patient journey and supports clinical teams in delivering high quality patient care and can make a real difference to the patient experience. Effective and efficient patient administration supports management through ensuring a high standard of data quality and by making the best use of capacity and resources.

We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual to join us as a Patient Admin Assistant working in the Renal & Transplant team.

This is a varied & busy role that would suit someone who is able to work on their own initiative but also as part of a team.

There is plenty of opportunity for learning & development both within the role & the service.

Renal & Transplant is a large acute service with many areas & units that require admin support.

This post is crucial to the on-going development of the service and would suit a candidate who has excellent organisational and communication skills with a background preferably within the NHS although this is not essential.

You will be expected to liaise with staff and colleagues at all levels. You will have proven administration & customer service skills with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload to tight deadlines.

You will need to demonstrate initiative and flexibility in your approach and be able to work in a pressurised and busy environment.

1. Demonstrate high levels of customer care and be an ambassador for customer care within the Trust.
2. Provide a robust administration function that underpins the delivery of a high quality service and maintain effective working relationships with clinical, nursing and administrative staff.
3. Respond to communication and queries including email, face to face and over the telephone in a timely manner.
4. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
5. Be flexible in your approach to work, such as covering other job roles at an appropriate grade or site, and to include varying working hours to ensure the service maintains a minimum level of cover during its core hours of 08:00 to 17:00.
6. Use the Trust IT systems (for example EPR, Voice Recognition, SCANIT, etc.) to register patients, make up a set of patient notes, make outpatient appointments, produce end of treatment letters, ensure that details are correct, check in / check of outpatient appointments as instructed.
7. Assist with the processing of new referrals on Choose and Book / DBS / e-referral systems.
8. Contribute to on-going and future service development projects supporting continuous improvement of the services we provide.
9. Attend Departmental meetings and training as required to ensure that you maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of service and trust procedures
10. Act in a manner aligned to our Trust Values and consistently demonstrate the behaviours that will ensure we achieve our ambition of delivering compassionate excellence.
11. Any other duties which may be needed to fulfil the objectives of the post, which are appropriate to the grade.
