The Role

This post is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing care to patients who have had a stroke and their families. As an Assistant Psychologist linked to the Community Stroke Services, you will support the work of Practitioner Psychologists who carry out Specialist Psychological and Neuropsychological assessment and intervention to patients and families. The role will include supporting a range of functions including psychological assessments, developing formulations, delivering individual therapeutic sessions, and assessing the need for group interventions. You will contribute to the psychological care of patients and support the overall evaluation of the service including administration of outcome measures, research and service development. Additional professional links will be facilitated into the Clinical Health Psychology and Neuropsychology Services network that provides input to the Northern and Eastern Devon region.
