An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join our existing finance team for the UK & Ireland business at Medvivo, part of the HealthHero group. As an Assistant Accountant, your responsibilities will include revenue billing, credit control, payment schedules & monthly accruals by working closely with finance and functional teams across the business. Our ideal candidate will be an excellent cross-team communicator, have an accounting background and be passionate about using multiple systems & spreadsheets to simplifyprocesses. About the role:To be successful in this role, you should have a keen interest in healthcare, data analysis & accounting functions. Your main day to day duties will include but not be limited to: Monthly invoicing and calculating month-end accruals Interacting and liaising with the commercial and customer success team for regular updates Credit control functions - Sending weekly statements/reminders and developing a positive and proactive approach to solving customer queries. Understanding & reacting swiftly to queries in order to improving cashflow. Weekly reports to the management and account managers Checking and producing monthly affiliate payment schedule for UK and Ireland business Checking invoice payment schedules for General Practitioners Maintain billing and support shared inboxes with members of the finance team Collaborating and provide support to the wider finance team in UK and Ireland Producing audit schedules and reconciliations Location: Whilst this role will require some presence on site, we are able to offer a work from home balance. There is a requirement for the Assistant Accountant to work in the office at least one day a week. The office day will require working at our Head Office in Bracknell but at times, we will be able to facilitate office working at our site in Chippenham. About you: Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate: A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role AAT qualifications - Part-qualified CIMA or ACCA or qualified by experience IT Proficiency and competent user of all Microsoft Office products, particularly excel A thorough understanding of accounting policies An ability to be flexible and adapt within in a fluid and dynamic environment Accuracy and excellent attention to detail Strong communication and organisation skills Experience working with different currencies An ability to maintain effective working relationships with operational departments Autonomy and can do attitude An ability to demonstrate curiosity, seek continuous feedback and thrive within a learning culture About us: HealthHero is a digital-first,end-to-end healthcare provider.
