JDO Team Assistant - Reporting Job Purpose
The JDO Reporting Assistant will be a member of the Quality Team in the Integration Branch within
the Joint Design Office (JDO) supporting & introducing granular reporting solution for the JDO &
associated team. In addition, this individual will manipulate this information so Operational &
Project KPI reporting are supported. The key task will be to maintain an accurate dashboard in
addition to managing JDO day-to-day Change Object tracking and supporting the JDO configuration
team's reporting from the new Plant Life Management Tool.
This is a fixed-term assignment for 6 months after which the activities will be reviewed and might be
extended.
Operating Environment
The Joint Design Office (JDO) was set up in June 2020 to provide engineering services between the
point of design delivery and construction/installation activities on Site. The Project is now
moving from Civil Works construction activities into the M&E installation phase, where the
management of workload through sufficient KPIs and granular reporting is a critical component.

achieve Best for Project results. Our project is transforming the approach to data management through the roll out of a PLM system that interfaces with all key tools on the HPC Project, to best utilise this new PLM tool, sufficient reporting
needs to be maintained.
Reporting Team Assistant will be part of the JDO Quality Team in the JDO Integration Branch,
under the management of the JDO Quality Manager.
Principal Accountabilities
Supporting the JDO Quality Team as an interface with the JDO Operational Delivery teams and
managing the tracking of change objects through the processes and KPIs. This role will also support
the JDO Integration Branch by engaging with the JDO Change & Configuration team to support their
day-to-day activities plus they will support the wider JDO Quality team in the development of further
reporting capabilities.
Specific tasks could include (but not limited to):
Extract and publish daily JDO KPI reporting dashboard
Support JDO Change Object work management - specifically an interface to support the JDO
Operational Teams
Support JDO in maintaining configuration through manual data extracts
Support issue resolution for JDO users
Support JDO Technical Assistant in reporting development
Any additional tasking as by JDO Quality Manager to support the JDO and wider HPC Project
Dimensions
This is a full-time role for 6 months (when it will be reviewed and might roll monthly after)
This is a Site based role at HPC Site [minimum 4 days / week physically on-Site] Some regular travel to Aztec West (Bristol) & SDC (Bridgewater) must be expected (3 to 5 days/pcm)
Line manager accountability will be to the JDO Quality Manager
Optional 1 days working from home possible post agreement with JDO Quality Manager on a case-
by-case basis

Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high-level attention to detail
Experienced in producing & managing graphs from data
Experienced in issue resolution related to KPIs and dashboards
Ability to work and act autonomously with a "can do" problem solving ability
Ability to resolve issues of low complexity/risk in own technical discipline/area
A willingness to learn and develop
Fluent in English
Desirable
Proficient in Power BI
Experience in Organisational data management/reporting
Exposure to ISO regulations
Exposure to configuration management and a Plant Life Management tool & its development (PLM)
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
GCSE in Maths and English grade C/4 and above (or equivalent)
Good IT skills and competent in the use of Microsoft software
o Key to be proficient in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
Experienced in supporting multi organisational stakeholders
Desirable
HNC/HND in Engineering (any), Manufacturing or any other relevant technical discipline.
