Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of a varied and fast-paced workload. Your duties will include; purchase ledger, sales ledger, assisting with month end, processing invoices, bank reconciliations, cash allocation, monthly supplier statements, credit control, and general associated finance administration.

Outline of the role

The Retail Apprenticeship will involve working in our store as a full -time team member, helping with every aspect of creating a great customer experience and learning about how a retailer operates their business. It is a great experience working in a fast-paced and fun environment that will prepare you for even bigger challenges. The role

This is a Full time 40 hr per week role, and you need to be available to work shifts between 7am and 5pm Mon-Fri. You will also work some Saturday shifts (8am to noon) on a rotational basis, to which you will have time off in lieu.
You will spend 50% of your time driving and the remainder in-store as a sales colleague, so it is important that you have a background in sales and retail

* Mix paint to customer requirements
* Engage with customers and provide product advice
* Deliver orders to customers
* Collaborate with colleagues to reach store targets
* Follow the merchandising plan to restock the shop floor
* Provide feedback to improve our overall service to customers
* Carry out daily and weekly van inspections & report any concerns
* Provide great customer service

Experience and Qualifications 
You don’t need experience to join our Fun Shop Team. You may already be working in retail but if not, that’s ok! We will provide the training and support required to ensure you are great at what you do.
