To effectively supervise liaison and develop links with partner agencies to provide a through-care service for prisoners from the point of entry into the prison system to release into the community so that re-offending is reduced and the health, well-being and social functioning of Service User is improved. To contribute and work within the prison and wider drug strategy. To be responsible for implementing Inclusion policies, protocols, SOPs and developing LOPs in conjunction with the clinical prescribing team and mental health team.

Work closely with partner provider organisations, placement leads and HEIs providing their HCPC AHP pre-registration courses to support and achieve local practice placement expansion priorities for their profession. Undertake placement capacity mapping internally within MPFT. Lead and implement innovative models of student clinical placement education in practice within MPFT.
