Due to maternity leave , we have an exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Operations Elective team at NUH as a senior information analyst for a fixed term. The post willmaintain and develop regular and ad hoc elective reports using a broad range of tools and techniques as well as providing detailed advice, support and guidance to Divisions using specialist knowledge.
You will develop & maintain robust processes to review information and validate care pathways to help specialities understand their data and focus their attention on the highest risk areas to ensure patients are treated in a timely manner.
The team have hybrid working between remote home-working and occasional site visits at the City Campus / Queens Medical Centre as the main sites.
The Trust uses the Careflow Patient Administration System and NerveCentre amongst other systems. In particular the team use both the front end of Careflow as well as the Business Intelligence system and also exploring wider use of NerveCentre data. Reporting uses traditional Excel based reports as well as some SSRS and QlikSense reporting.
You will maintain and develop a suite of reports to support management of PTLs and data quality across the elective pathway. With Information colleagues, ensure the timely and accurate production of external reports, including RTT and diagnostic returns.
Establish effective communication channels between the Operations team, the Divisions and other Corporate Functions to ensure that good practice is rapidly shared and that areas of concern are escalated so that appropriate action can be taken.Identify areas of non-compliance with the NUH Access Policy and support staff to improve pathway management, from individual coaching to supporting Trust wide training programmes.
You will support the Elective Performance Operations Manager, interpret and present information, provide explanations where the information analysis is highly complex,give advice and feedback. You will haveknowledge of local and national guidance in relation to elective care performance and elective pathway management and act as an initial point of contact/expertise for queries and issues arising.
Ensure robust reporting in place to support the Head of Elective Performance to hold to account Divisions to deliver the full range of elective performance standards.
