What You’ll Do 

Denver International Airport (DEN) is hiring an Airport Emergency Dispatcher (AED) to join our Communications Center team. The AED job responsibilities encompass the following:

Call Taking

• Obtains complete, accurate and appropriate information from calling party

• Communicates effectively with various types of callers (emotionally upset, abusive, nuisance, non-English speaking, TDD, intoxicated, mentally unstable, speech-impaired, children, elderly)

• Summarizes (in written form) incidents, descriptions and other information obtained from callers using clear, concise and appropriate language in an organized, complete and accurate manner

Providing Information

• Determines what information, if any, should be provided to the public, other agencies, and the media

• Explains departmental policies and procedures, and legal processes to the public, other agencies, and the media

• Advises citizens of appropriate actions to take in various emergency and non-emergency calls for service

Dispatching

• Determines appropriate personnel and resources to dispatch to incidents

• Communicates effectively with field units, verbally and in written form (e.g., broadcasting, receiving, and exchanging information).

• Directs and coordinates appropriate field unit response

• Initiates and coordinates allied agency response, when appropriate

• Monitors, coordinates, and accurately updates status information regarding field units and incidents

Using Resources and Equipment

• Uses appropriate automated databases (e.g., vehicle, criminal history, driver license, wants and warrants, stolen property, gun, and various specialized data bases) and reference materials (codes, wanted lists, directories, manuals, etc.) to obtain or accurately update information

• Uses telephone system and related equipment, radio broadcasting equipment, closed circuit television equipment, alarm monitoring system, and/or computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system properly when receiving and dispatching calls for service

About You

It takes a special person to meet the demands of public safety communications. It requires having to do several things at once, sometimes during life-threatening situations. A slow or improper response to a call can results in serious injury or further harm. The position requires maintaining composure, and keeping emotions in check, even in very difficult and emotionally charged situations.  We’re looking for an individuals who enjoy being a part of a team; being able to work well independently and work successfully with others.

We are looking for candidates that can perform effectively under adverse conditions, 'bounce back' from negative situations, perform duties under extreme pressure without delay, conduct themselves ethically and morally, have the ability to listen while at the same time perform various tasks, and operate dispatching equipment. You will work in a 24/7/365 Public Safety Answering Point that operates in a high visibility and accountability environment, interacting with many different people on a daily basis, often at the same time.

In addition, we are looking for candidates with some or all the following experience:

• One or more years of experience in an emergency services environment

• One of more years of experience in a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP)

• Willingness to obtain communications Training Officer (CTO) certification (APCO, NENA, or PSAP agency developed)

• Willingness to obtain completion of basic public-safety telecommunication training course (APCO, NENA, or PSAP agency developed)

• Willingness to obtain ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800

• Flexibility to work first, second and third shift

• Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements

• Licensure: Must pass an initial pre-security clearance screening to obtain an OSN (Operator Security Number) from CBI (Colorado Bureau of Investigation) through successful completion of a certification as a condition of employment. Must take and pass an online test every two years to maintain certification. Requires a valid Driver License at the time of application. Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.

What We Offer

What You’ll Do

Denver International Airport (DEN) is seeking a motivated, coachable Fleet Technician I to join our Fleet Maintenance Team.  If you are looking for the training to move forward in your career and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, then this is the opportunity for you!
 

As a Fleet Technician I, you can expect to:

• Inspect equipment brought to shop for structural integrity and other potential safety and maintenance problems.

• Conduct routine and annual inspections and performs preventive maintenance on all vehicles

• Participates in mandatory snow removal and emergency operations

• Repair or replaces worn parts not requiring major mechanical work. Identifies and reports to supervisor any major problems requiring mechanical attention

• Inspect primary and auxiliary operating systems for loose and worn parts, hydraulic systems for faulty cylinders, hoses, or fittings, and air systems. Inspect equipment for proper fluid levels, adds fluid as necessary, and replaces filters.

• Lubricate auxiliary attachments, suspensions, moving parts, and wearing surfaces on equipment. Replace air compressor filters and air lines. Remove, repairs, and replaces wheels and tires on equipment

• Respond to emergency road service on tires, tubes, and wheels of specialized and heavy-duty automotive equipment, utilizing hydraulic jacks and lifts

• Remove and replaces sealed beam lighting units, light bulbs, light bars, and fuses. Operate all types of vehicles and equipment to servicing and storage areas. Wash and steam clean equipment and cleans work area

• Assist higher level technicians on routine to complex shop duties and repair. Observe all common safety practices

• Any one position may not include all the duties listed. However, the allocation of positions will be determined by the amount of time spent in performing the essential duties listed above

About You

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for a candidate with some or all the following skills and experience:

• An Associate Degree (or Trade School Certification) in automotive maintenance or similar a plus

• 1-2 Years of full-time experience in an Automotive or Heavy Truck repair within a maintenance shop

• 1-3 ASE certifications in Automotive or Medium duty/Heavy Truck a plus

• Basic electrical diagnostics and understanding of battery, starting, and charging systems

• Basic understanding of resetting vehicle maintenance service reminders including TPMS sensors

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Education requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.

• Experience Requirement: One (1) year of experience in the maintenance of gasoline, diesel, and/or alternative/hybrid powered equipment or one year of experience in the repair of tires, tubes, wheels, hydraulic brakes, air brakes, and/or parking brake systems in an automotive repair shop or fleet department.

• Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.

• License/Certifications: Requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application.

• Requires a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL "B") with appropriate endorsements by the end of probation.

Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.

Denver International Airport is currently seeking a Fleet Technician III. As part of our Fleet Maintenance Team you will help to maintain and repair equipment and vehicles from Light Duty Cars and Truck, Medium/ Heavy duty trucks, Police Motorcycles to Airport Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) Trucks, including one of the largest and most technically advanced airport snow removal fleets in North America. This will include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting/diagnosis, repair, and overhaul of these state-of-the-art diesel, gasoline, and alternative fuel vehicle and equipment assets. 

As a Fleet Technician II you can expect to:

• Conduct routine and annual inspections and performs preventive maintenance on all vehicles
• Inspect, diagnose, disassemble, remove, clean, and replace defective parts/systems, and adjust to specified performance standards for assigned fleet vehicles
• Perform minor overhaul of engines and diagnose and repair engine and powertrain control systems using standard diagnostic equipment
• Perform minor overhaul of front, rear, and all-wheel drive systems; manual, automatic, constant velocity transmission (CVT), electronic transmissions, standard and limited slip differentials, and electric and manual transfer cases.  Diagnose and repair vehicle emission systems. Perform minor repair of vehicle power plants and electrical systems. Repair charging, starting, and electrical systems. Repair electronically and mechanically controlled hydraulic systems
• Repair vehicle heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), belts, hoses, water pumps, and related parts including refrigerant recycling and all component repair and replacement and exhaust systems and  Repair suspension and steering systems. Performs two and four-wheel alignments on equipment using standard equipment and electronically controlled steering systems. Repair and replace braking systems including anti-lock braking systems (ABS) and traction control systems.  Repairs mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and apparatus
• Repair passive (airbags) and active restraint systems including collision avoidance, parking aid, and occupant classification systems
• Fabricate, weld, and repair parts using standard welding techniques and tools which includes design and installation of specialized equipment and mounting systems
• Install and repair specialized safety or City-required equipment such as light bars and controls, strobes, sirens, lift frames and arrow boards, consoles, and electrical or computerized vehicle interfaces. 
• Responds to field service calls and performs preventive maintenance on equipment in shop or in field locations. Participates in snow removal duties
• Trains and reviews the work of lower-level technicians. Assists higher-level technicians and trains on increasingly complex repairs, maintenance, and inspections. Observes all common shop safety standards
• Performs other duties as assigned

About You

What You'll Offer:

• An Associate Degree (or Trade School Certification) in automotive maintenance or similar a plus
• 3-5 Years of full-time experience working in an Automotive/ Heavy Truck repair and maintenance shop
• Strong automotive and equipment diagnostics ability with up to date training certificates a plus
• 2 plus years of experience working with a Fleet Management Database
• 3-5 ASE certifications in Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty Truck a plus
• MACS Certification in Automotive refrigerant servicing and handling a plus

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate
• Experience: Two (2) years of experience in the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of gasoline or diesel-powered equipment
• License/Certifications: Requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application. Possession of a Colorado Commercial Driver's License (CDL "B") with appropriate endorsements by the end of probation. Requires certifications in Airbrake and/or Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning as certified under section 609 of the Clean Air Act by an EPA approved program by the end of probation

What You'll Do:

Denver International Airport (DEN) Department of Business Management Services (BMS), Contract Procurement team is currently seeking a Procurement Contract Administrator to lead various procurement opportunities at DEN for both revenue and expenditure-based projects.  This is a rare opportunity to have a direct impact on key projects at DEN and the international aviation community. Procurement projects include Request for Proposals, Request for Qualifications, Invitations to Bid, and Contract Amendments just to name a few. This position will work closely with DEN stakeholders and Leadership to draft, evaluate and award procurement opportunities. 

Additionally, as a Procurement Contract Administrator you can expect to:

• Collaborate with DEN stakeholders to improve transparency, accountability, and standardization with procurement policies and procedures
• Provide recommendations that may result in increasing competition, quality, and expanding contractor diversity opportunities at DEN
• Present to DEN Leadership and stakeholders on current projects throughout the lifecycle of the procurement
• Review and analyze procurement specifications and independently prepare solicitation documents
• Facilitate DEN stakeholder reviews of solicitation and proposal documents to acquire constructive feedback in a timely and efficient manner
• Evaluate proposal documents submitted to DEN and verify vendor responsiveness
• Facilitate proposal evaluation process, including, but not limited to, assembling evaluation panels and coordinating and conducting various presentations and vendor interviews
• Possess financial analysis skills to ensure compliance of fiscal accountability throughout the development and contracting process
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with all of DEN stakeholders involved in processing procurements. Provide effective, customer-oriented services associated with each phase in the procurement process
• Recommend and apply continuous improvement methodologies, including research, analysis, reporting and customer feedback to ensure improvements are effectively applied to contracting procedures
• Maintain and record contract status entries into all applicable DEN systems throughout the lifecycle of the procurement
• Maintain organized project folders and complete records in accordance with DEN standardized practices and applicable laws
• Effective collaboration and communication to all DEN stakeholders regarding procurement timeline

Communications Coordinator

DaVita’s internal communications team, which is part of the larger corporate communications team, is a high-energy, entrepreneurial group who oversees the internal editorial strategy and analytics, and manages an array of communications channels that target the company’s more than 61,000 teammates in the United States.

We are currently seeking a motivated Communications Coordinator to join our force. This individual will support key internal communications functions and projects, and have a direct, meaningful impact on the experience of our teammates. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires someone comfortable with and adept in basic project coordination, and will oftentimes coordinate several projects simultaneously with supervision. Communications Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and executing high-visibility communications projects.

Position Overview

As a Customer Success Intern, you will be part of a dynamic team accountable for partnering with Autodesk Foundation portfolio customers to support solutions to challenges related to climate change. You will understand the opportunity to partner with the customer and catalyze their success by using Autodesk in-kind resources. Customer Success 

• Develop an understanding of the Autodesk Foundation investment initiatives related to the Health and Resilience opportunity area to serve as a matchmaker between investees and Autodesk partners. 
• Develop an understanding of the customers’ needs for designated Health & Resilience Foundation customers; prioritize recommendations for in-kind support that would deliver the highest value for the grantee and Autodesk
• Document findings by translating recommendations into success plans that leverages the deployment of Autodesk in-kind support
• Capture feedback from completed engagements, analyze metrics and trends to evaluate the success of in-kind support and document customer outcomes.  
• Surface insights and improve outcomes to Autodesk Foundation team and broader Autodesk community to support important activities such as impact measurement, communications, storytelling, award nominations, and other opportunities to create or add value.  

Industry Insights  

• Investigate industry trends to unearth new opportunities which may increase results and positive impact.

Minimum Qualifications
