• Candidate will learn the technicalities of secured/unsecured lending and banking Facilities offered such as Bilateral trade finance, Syndications loans and etc.

Context of the project: A new application is developed in Counterparty and Credit Risk IT (RIT): CREW. This tool handles workflow and definition of credit granting concerning the counterparty risk. It includes a decision-making workflow and the process of the credit decision through authorizations.

Goal of the project :Leveraging on the testing automation framework created to develop complex scenarios for a workflow application and strengthen the non-regression testing.

Internship mission statement: This mission will allow the intern to work on the automation of business’ use cases of front office users to ensure the stability of the tool throughout the development cycle, in close collaboration with the solution developers and business analysts. The tool development will have to follow the full CI-CD pipeline (unit tests, Sonar check …) process. Playwright, which is an increasingly adopted automation solution in the industry, requires basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) and object-oriented concepts.

Context of the project: In Compliance, all the health checks of applications are managed manually. Connection to the GUI, Access to data and Check they are properly displayed on the application. Project name: Migrate SSIS components to Java spring batch

Context of the project: In Know Your Customer process, users sometimes need to load data in mass without going through a standard workflow in the application. To do that, they have a set of existing loaders, used to parse input file, perform some controls and load data in the application if the data provided fulfills proper criteria.

Goal of the project: Migrate loaders currently implemented in Microsoft SSIS technology, to a brand new Java spring batch. Reinforce the reliability of those loaders. Reinforce the code maintainability, add unit testing coverage and add in Sonar perimeter.

Internship mission statement: This internship will allow the intern to work on a real-case migration project to remove an obsolete technology and use state of the art technology instead. Java spring batch will be hosted in Kubernates container and will follow the full CI-CD pipeline (unit tests, Sonar check, …).

• Co-ordinating and executing marketing deliverables with media and association partners
• Creating social media packs for speakers and sponsors for distribution
• Creating social media posts to drive event engagement
• Scheduling social media posts through a range of channels
• Using email automation systems to disseminate email communications
• Data building of curated target audiences for marketing promotions
• Creation of branding and marketing collaterals for dissemination
• Collate and support in the creation of detailed analytics packs for advertising clients

VIP Guesting and Event Marketing Operations:

• To source C-suite and other key decision makers from the insurance and related industries to attend our events
• To manage registration of attendees
• To be the main point of contact onsite for attendees
• To co-ordinate and manage meetings for sponsors and exhibitors
• Set up and manage the networking platform and handle enquiries before and during the event
• To provide sponsors and attendees with a truly great experience pre and during the conference and to provide a fantastic service element to the networking process

The intern should be:

• Interested in digital marketing, technology, and event marketing
• Interested in social media and familiar with some commonly used platforms
• Have excellent time management skills
• Have a great attitude to learning and be adaptable
• Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint & Excel and willing to learn other marketing automation tools
• Able to communicate clearly and with confidence

It would be desirable to have an interest in creative work and to speak another language, but this is not compulsory and applications are encouraged from people without these skills.

These, together with the evolving global tax reforms like BEPS 2.0, have increased the complexities of doing business.

This era of changes sees Tax increasingly forming part of businesses’ boardroom agenda.

In EY International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS), we provide flexible opportunities for you to hone single, dual or multi-disciplinary tax skillsets, be it corporate and international tax advisory, transaction tax advisory, business incentives advisory and/ or transfer pricing.

You will work with our ITTS engagement teams on those tax advisory projects, helping businesses as they go through various aspects of their life or growth cycle – establishment, expansion, transformation, exit, in domestic or international markets, for example:

1. Advise on market entry or exit tax issues and workarounds
2. Review their legal entity structure and/ or transactional/ operating model
3. Help them manage tax risks by looking at their overall tax strategy, governance and tax risk management framework
4. Understand business objectives and their value drivers to help align their tax and operating model, and optimize tax opportunities like research & development grants or deductions, incentives or other forms of government support
5. For mergers and acquisitions, advise on acquisition, disposal, refinancing, restructuring or initial public offering. And to help with negotiations throughout the transaction life cycle, from initial due diligence to post-deal implementation
6. Cross border multi-country projects to help businesses navigate through the evolving and changing global tax landscape, be it tax and transfer pricing restructuring, tax disputes, or BEPS 2.0.

Qualifications and skills

• A degree related to Accountancy / Finance / Tax / Business / Economics / Engineering / Information Technology; a CPA, CA or similar certification
• At least 1 year of relevant experience for experienced associate role, at least 2 years of experience for consultant role
• An open mind and the ability to adapt and perform under pressure
• Problem solving and numerical skills
• Time and project management skills
• Effective and impactful communication skills (written, verbal, relationship building)
